LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

I just read this article about the Powerball winner. Check out the bold paragraph. They're brave. I'd be too paranoid to play those numbers.

I know SillyMe, my DD has been asking me for weeks to play those numbers just because she wants the lottery card but I'm scared too! What if we were to win

I'm doing a scrapbook page about my family's LOST obsession (pics of us included) and you just gave me a great idea! I'll have to play those numbers for the card to put on the page. :teeth:

Man, last night's episode was a total snooze. Probably the worst yet. :faint:

For real. We taped it and just finshed. I was like, "Ohhhhhhhkay." The episode didn't really have a point. I was disappointed.

Someone PPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEE kill off Michael. He is a very annoying character.

I thought the same thing! :rolleyes1 Very BORING! :confused3

I thought it was a good episode, I guess I'm alone on that one. It wasn't very revealing, but it started to get back into the everyday life of the Lostaways and I've been missing that. Not my favorite by far, but good nonetheless, IMO.

That would be interesting. I think I've read that we're supposed to see Shannon's husband this season.

Here's my Disney connection for the day ;) (and it's a stretch at that) but Sun --> matchmaker-->Mulan :teeth:

And...I still think Michael and Walt are Nemo and Marlin. :teeth:

I totally thought Mulan too!!

I was glad to see more about Jin and Suns story. Was so happy for her when she found her ring.
I thought the episode was good. Was glad to not see the Hatch, or any of the freaky kind of happenings. I like the people storylines, not the 'dharma' ones or ones that leave you with 50 questions after!

I agree. I personally liked it. The show needs to slow down a bit. Things are changing so fast! It was nice to get a break from DHARMA and the Hatch.

I like learning more about the characters.

Hey ... my wife thought that the matchmaker was also the one who helped SUn plan her escape in her flasback in season 1. Anyone know?

Wasn't the person who helped Sun a female and the matchmaker a male?Maybe I'm not remembering correctly. My brain is not what it used to be. :rotfl:

This is such a wonderful idea! My family is also obsessed. My daughter joined a fan club I think it's called the Hatch and they sent her a bookmark (Sawyer  ) and a pretty funny birthday card from the Hatch. It had hurley , Charlie & one other character on the cover and they had on scrapbooking party hats. (I know they were scrapbooking because I bought the same stickers once. LOL I'll find out the web page that would be a great addition to your scrapbook. I just might start one myself. :)

A friend of mine thinks the character Eko may be referring to the Italian philospher/author Umberto Eco. He wrote a book called "The Island and the Day Before." It seems it's about a man who was shipwrecked. Anyone know anything about either the philospher or the book?

Just bought the first edition of the official Lost magazine. Its a bit pricey at 7.00 but has lots of good pictures and good articles. Had a really good article on the "creature".

another disney connection

the teddy bear tied up and being dragged on the ground by the last in the line of others is like when the Indians captured Wendy and her brothers. All of them walk in a line tied up and at the end was Little Michael's teddy bear, also tied up and being dragged on the ground....
