I think it's a fancy name for re-run- actually a catch-up episode to fill you in if you have not watched before - or because it;s been so long they had a new episode you forget what happened

Not another catch-up episode! I thought this was going to be 2 hours of brand new LOST.

I belive the first hour is a catch up type show, and the second hour is NEW!!

The first one looks like a new episode similar to season one's "The Journey". I enjoyed that episode. The narration added quite a bit to the previously seen scenes.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting excited for tonight's episode? I've all but completely lost interest in this show. I wouldn't be surprised if tonight's episode is way down in the number ranks.

The lag has been hard, and I know some people have been frustrated with recent episodes focusing on the tailies, but I'm very glad the show is back tonight. The spoiler thread indicates the show will shift focus back to the original cast, so that encourages me (especially potential Charlie episodes). Hopefully the show is well-watched and encourages you to get interested in again.

I thought this was going to be a new episode. When I saw it was a rehashing of everything we've seen, I turned it off. I don't know if the 2nd episode is new or not....the onscreen guide only says the 1st one is new.

You're right - I am getting sick of these shows going off for weeks at a time. I lose interest and never end up going back with the same "gotta watch" feeling.

Not if they were all drawn to the island for some purpose.

Who knows, at least they are letting us actually see things on this episode instead of 2 second glimpses.
