Here is an article on Michelle Rodriguez. I really wonder if they'll have to kill her off or recast the character. She apparently was on probation at the time of her DWI arrest.

HONOLULU -- Michelle Rodriguez, a star on ABC's "Lost," complained after her arrest for drunken driving earlier this month that police were taking away her freedom.

Officers pulled Rodriguez over early on Dec. 1 after spotting her black Mercedes allegedly weaving down Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound lanes from Kailua.

Another "Lost" star, Cynthia Watros, was arrested 15 minutes later on the same road when police saw her car also moving erratically.

Both allegedly failed sobriety tests. Rodriguez had a blood alcohol level of 0.145, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08, according to documents obtained by KITV-TV.

KITV quoted court and police documents that said Rodriguez was "very argumentative" and kept interrupting the officer who was explaining drunk driving sanctions to her.

"I don't (expletive) belong here! Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me! You've already taken my freedom! You might as well take my life too!" she said, KITV reported Friday.

The officer who took Rodriguez in a police car to the Kailua substation quoted her as saying "Just take my car and I'll walk all the way to the North Shore but don't leave me in the back of this car poppie."

Rodriguez' lawyer declined comment.

The actress plays police officer Ana Lucia on the hit ABC drama series filmed in Hawaii.

It is too bad she is bringing such bad publicity to the show.
I wish they could re-write a new actress in to do her part, because it was getting interesting. I can't stand her and her snarly face though....

I agree. It's pretty hard to keep a large fan base when you only give us two or three new episodes every 4-6 weeks.

"Snarly face" - that's a great description of her! I call her The Snot. I don't like her AT ALL. I saw on Fox news the other night that she has had numerous tickets for speeding also. They also reported that Josh Holloway had a speeding ticket. I just hope they do away with The Snot. I don't care who does it, just so it's done!

Why was she still allowed to drive after being arrested numerous times, once for going 90 MPH in a 35 MPH zone? That is not just speeding it is reckless driving. She needs to spend some time in jail.

Exactly. Speeding is one thing, but 55 over the limit? That's insane. And that ticket was one of several after being arrested for a hit and run. She should be in jail and her character killed off.

ITA - while her butt's in jail IRL, maybe the writers can arrange for her character to mysteriously disappear...abducted by "The Others" never to return.

ETA: "The Others" a.k.a Hawaii's finest law enforcement officers....Hey that might make for a great new episode of Hawaii 50! "Book'em Dano"!

I started watching LOST at the end of last season. - I know, but better late than never right? lol - Anyway, DH got me season 1 DVD and I am loving it! I'm on to disc 3 already and watch every chance I get. I am so suprised at how much is new to me even though I've watched so far ahead. I watched the golf episode last night and finally understood Stinkerbelle's old signature!

I can't wait to see the next new episode but at least I have some LOST entertainment!

I go to the bank and they have a new ATM machine. As I'm trying to get money out and typing my numbers the new machine sounds just like the alarm in the hatch!!! Weird!!!
