Happy Last Week of Lost everyone!

I am very disappointed in tonight's episode. We got so few answers, and Kate being crossed off because she's a mother? Weak!!! Oh, but if you want the roll Kate, you can have it.

I'm getting more and more disappointed with the wrap up with each episode.

I didnt care for the unceremonious way people were killed off tonight.

So Desmond is out of the well obviously but where is he at now and what is he doing?

The sidways line is interesting still.
It was great to see Ana Lucia back even for that little bit.

I disagree. I thought tonights episode was great. I was on the edge of my seat the whole show. Ben's actions were a huge surprise to me......Widmore working together with Jacob to save the island.....Jack stepping up to be "The One" (which we all saw coming, but still....).....I didn't like his answer to why Kate was crossed off as it didn't make sense...although maybe the Kwon on the wall was Jin, not Sun as she was a mother too yet they both died....Desmond as a "fail-safe" in case MIB killed all the candidates....so DH says that Desmond as a "fail-safe" is so that he can go inside the tunnel of light and survive....that is why they tested him in the electromagnetic field...I think this is very plausable.

Now my only question is: If Desmond is used as a fail-safe to enter the tunnel and blow up the island...why would both Widmore(Jacob??) and MIB/Locke both want this to happen?? Does MIB/Locke believe that by blowing up the island he will be set free??? Does Widmore(Jacob??) believe that by blowing up the island MIB/Locke would die????

In the sideways timeline Desmond has gathered many of the Losties together to meet at the concert at Widmore's place.....Charlie will be in the band, Daniel will be there....Jack will be there because his son is performing...Claire will probably attend too.....Desmond is driving Kate to the concert....Hurley is driving Sayid.......

I can't believe it will all be over in 5 days!!!!

In the sideways timeline Desmond has gathered many of the Losties together to meet at the concert at Widmore's place.....Charlie will be in the band, Daniel will be there....Jack will be there because his son is performing...Claire will probably attend too.....Desmond is driving Kate to the concert....Hurley is driving Sayid.......

I can't believe it will all be over in 5 days!!!!

Okay...so I thought about it some more! I am driving DH mad!! Anyway....Miles was getting ready to go to the concert also...he invited James who said no way, but I bet he will go....and Jack's ex-wife will be there to see their son play...is she Juliet??......Who will then meet up with Sawyer to go "dutch" at the coffee shop...not sure if Jack will somehow invite Locke...or how Jin/Sun will get to the concert...or for that matter Ben (if he needs to be there).......but then everyone essential will be together.

Now as for Jack....he was bleeding again in this episode. DH and I believe he is slowly dying...as he will be the martyr....staying on the Island to protect the light...while everyone else lives. Ugh...makes me sad thinking about it, but this episode brought this all forward......In a way I hope we are wrong about Jack as I really wanted him to have a happy ending (with Kate!)...I guess we will see.

I don't know how I am going to watch Sunday night as we will have company....but I know if I wait until Monday I will hear something about Lost that will ruin the ending.....so DH and I say we will probably be up until 3am watching the finale.

The entire Widmore bit, over before we even know what's going on. Richard? It's one thing when it was Llana and Artz, but come on, main characters?

I am eager to watch the pilot again on Saturday, and the review show, so that I can remember the details.

Llana went into the cave (statue) where Jacob was killed and got his ashes and put them into that little bag. After her death, Hurley took them and has carried them around ever since. We never knew the significance of them before tonight.

Do we KNOW that Richard is dead? He is supposedly immortal and it did not show his body, just the smoke monster knocking him against a tree. I think we will see him again, maybe with Desmond.

I actually wasn't surprised at Ben joining Locke. He is a coward and will join with whoever he thinks will save his butt.

Why were Widmore and Zoe in the closet, but Miles was not? Did he go into the jungle? Who got Desmond out of the well? Do you think he might be about to do something that will align the timelines, since all the Losties seem to be getting together in the sideways story?

So, Jacob IS the good guy; he just made a human mistake in sending MIB into the light?

We got some answers, but then we got more questions. I told DS15 all homework needs to be done by 6:45 and he is not to come interrupting my Lost trance, LOL

Well, my dd's dance recital is Saturday and we have out of town guests coming in to see her....so hopefully they will go to bed early and dh and I can watch Lost!

I really do not think we will be getting all the answers we hope for.....wish we knew more about the "light" and why MIB came to be....but I doubt it....I did not like the way Richard was taken by MIB....Why hadn't he killed him years ago??? Do you think Richard is still alive maybe? Widmore...could have used more info on his mission and thoughts..maybe in the finale....

I really hate Ben (not that I didn't hate him before!)....he gave Miles the walkie talkie....so I bet Miles hooks up with Jack & Co....then Ben contacts him and finds out where they are....Miles leads Ben/MIB right to them.

So if you could only pick 2 questions to be answered what would they be??? I need to think about it a bit.......

Maybe Widmore or Zoe will "tell" Miles not to contact Ben, or Miles will connect back with Hurley and he will "see" Widmore or Zoe and learn Ben has gone over to the dark side. Or Richard is still alive and saw what happened, and will tell the Losties. I just hope Ben gets his; he has no allegiance to anyone but himself.

Do the writers realize how annoying they have made Jack? Jeez!!! Two seconds after Jacob tells them one of them has to take over, Jack stands up and says he'll do it. No discussions with anyone, just "I'll do it"

Well, what if Hurley wanted the job, or even Kate? Or better yet, Sawyer? But nooo, spoiled little whiney Jack stands up and announces the job is his.

I don't know, it just irked me last night.

Wasn't overly thrilled with last nights episode. I understand that it was essential to get us to the end, it just seemed a bit boring after last weeks show.

I love how they were all on their way to get to the well to get Desmond out but then all got sidetracked with their little pow-wow with Jacob. I'm like "Hello, the guy is at the bottom of the well, going on day 2 now!!!" They just totally forgot about him.

What the heck is happening with Rose and Bernard. Everyone has been tramping all over the island and we never hear or see anything about them. I know that they originally were off on their own in their own little camp that they made, but what about now? Wonder if they are helping Desmond?

Ben and Danielle? Oh how cute. My DH said that Danielle was throwing herself at him and he would have to be blind not to notice. I love that he will get to be a father to Alex again.

Love how Desmond is on a mission in the sideways timeline and how he is getting everyone together. Why did he call Jack and pretend he was from the airline and that his fathers body was found?

Also, the concert at Widmore's, I thought that Charlie was not going to be playing? Is he back on now?

In regards to the mother of Jack's son, I believe it is his first wife, Julie (?). She is on the TV show Modern Family now (hysterical show, my new favorite!!) and they filmed an episode in Hawaii at that time that LOST was filming the finale. Makes you wonder if they planned that so that she could film both shows at once.

Really waiting for Sawyer and Juliet to meet and for her to say her "coffee" line. They need to be together.

Why the heck was Kate hanging all over Sawyer last night when they were at the beach? Hello, he just lost his girlfriend/fiancee a week ago. Back off. \

Oh yeah, why is Hurley just totally cool with trusting some man he met for like 5 minutes in a fast food place and willingly pays off a cop to help 3 criminals escape, 2 for murder no less? Hurley, you bad boy you!!

I enjoyed last night's episode other than the ridiculous amount of commercials. I will never get into another show on that network again!

I don't totally understand how Ben switched from "redeemed, improved" Ben to even more evil Ben. Maybe he was never improved . As far as the father/daughter thing - I don't remember him ever acting like a great father in any episode.

I liked jacob's answer to Kate about why her name was crossed off the list, although it doesn't totally make sense when I think about Jin and Sun.

I can't wait to see what Desmond is planning, and how it all comes together.

Does anyone think there's a chance at some happy endings?

I thought last night's episode was kind of blah. Zoe's dead - who cares? Widmore is dead - we never saw enough of him to have any idea whether he was really a good guy or bad guy, whether he wanted to save the island or destroy it, so I don't really care that he's dead.

I hope Richard isn't dead - like a PP said, he's immortal, so maybe Smokey just tossed him out into the jungle to get him out of the way while he took care of Widmore and Zoe.

Desmond - ok, we know Desmond is "special". I think Desmond is the only one who knows what's happening in BOTH timelines. I think Sideways Desmond is trying to get all the Losties together at the concert because they need to be together whenever "it" happens in the island timeline - whether the island is destroyed or MIB/Smokey is destroyed or whatever it is that's going to happen.

Ben - he's only looking out for himself, so it was no surprise to me that he flopped back to MIB's side.

I think the MIB plays off of Ben's need for power, control, etc. to get Ben to do what he wants, and then maybe offered a bit of protection (à la summoning Smokey) in return.
