I guess its not spoilers anymore since it aired on the east coast but it was nice to finally get an answer to the whispers. I liked it too. I think it made sense. And it wasn't a complicated storyline which was nice. And it was so great seeing Libby again. What was Desmond doing at the end hitting Locke???

I think he hit Locke to get him to near death (like he was last week with Charlie) so that he will remember....

I can't remember- did Desmond talk to Eloise at the party when she said he wasn't ready? He definitely seems to be on a mission in that timeline...

Yes, Eloise told Desmond he wasn't ready yet. But then Desmond talked to Daniel, and now it looks like he's on a mission. Hmm, in BOTH timelines Desmond is on a mission. On the island, he's working for Widmore (or so we think), and in the alternate timeline, he's trying to make everyone from the flight remember.

I agree that Desmond hitting Locke with his car was to give Locke a near-death experience so he'd remember his "other" life.

I just knew Locke was going to push Desmond in that well at the end. I was hoping it was the well with the donkey wheel, but looks like it wasn't. Did you see the previews where Sayid is shooting Desmond while he's stuck in the well? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Great to see Libby again!! I hope she and Hurley, and Desmond and Penny, get together by the end of the series.

I don't understand Sun - she's just running away from Locke in the jungle, hits her head, and now she meekly goes along with the rest of them to go meet up with Locke????

Now Locke has everybody he needs, except Jin. But the name on the cave was just Kwon - we don't know if it's Sun or Jin.

Wow, what a crazy episode last night. So much going on.

I was thinking that maybe he hit Locke to get him under Jacks knife, but I think what you guys are saying makes more sense. He is trying to get him to remember.

So, who else was on the flight that does not remember? James, Claire, Kate, Boone? Why have they not shown Michael or Walt in the alternate timeline? Were they not on the plane in that reality?

So happy to see Libby and Hurley together!!!

Not a spoiler, just a thought.......
I'm wondering if Desmond will end up being the next Jacob. They always showed Jacob with the 'candidates'. Now it seems that Desmond is watching out, sort of, for the other flight 815 passengers. Maybe Desmond was giving Locke 'payback' at the end of the show??? I wish we could have seen more of Michael!

I am LOVING this season! Maybe an author will pick up on the idea and we will have a Lost book series

My problem with Des hitting Locke so he would remember is that he's dead in the other timeline. SO I think he hit him to kill him. I don't think Des can take Jacob's place since he's not a candidate.

I loved Ben watching out for the students. Sideways Ben rocks. But Ben's comment about what the island will do to them when it's done with them was ominous.

Loved it when Illana blew up, I was all like, she's totally gonna Arnst.

I liked Jack's explanation of why he's being a follower.

Sun is being annoying cuz I assume she's gonna die. I won't miss her.

I still feel like the sideways timeline is the epilogue and Des is reminding everyone about their other life, so they can live happily ever after with their love...or die like they are supposed to.

I can't imagine Sayid will actually shoot Des, something will happen to stop it. Sayid's my disappointment with this season. I really liked him and now he's all crazy evil guy, which works, but I just wish they hadn't made us like him so much.

YES!!! I was LOVING Sayid before and now he just seems so 'off'. (He's still hot though )

They had made him this dynamic well rounded character and now he's just the torturous killing machine. I wish they had just killed him off.

So the remaining candidates have to leave the island together. Who is really left?

Jack, Sun, Jin, Hugo, Sawyer?

Not Kate and not Sayid right? So either of them can be killed, but the others can't? Unless they choose team Smokey and can't be candidates?

We know it's not the original 6 that have to get off, since Smokey told Claire she can kill Kate once Kate convinces the others to leave...or did he say she has to leave too and then whatever happens, happens?

That was just so creepy! I was watching the previews alone and I got creeped out just because of the song. I had to go watch the Duggars afterward just so I didn't have nightmares that night!
