Lost gift card - can it be replaced.

I purchased a gift card for Sonic from Target and it has been replaced. I have my receipt - is there a way to have it replaced?

If the gift card number is on the receipt, you may be able to call/contact the Sonic # to report it lost.

I'd try visiting your Target store, too.

(I obviously really don't know the answer to your question. I would like to know though for the future.)

A few years ago we had a house fire right after Christmas, DD had some gift cards that were destroyed. We told the gifter and he was able to have them replaced, but he had the receipt for them and that was the only way they would replace them. This was not for Sonic but for Barnes & Noble, Target, and one other store that I can't recall.
