just got back from WDW and guess who was staying at concierge at AKL? Evangeline and Dominic! ran into them a couple of times at the kilamanjaro club! Also, saw then one morning doing the safari-- but can't figure out why they wouldn't do the sunrise safari!!

Well, the neighborhood we were living in was awful...it was like living in a real version of Lost! Only much worse. The women were sharks, and the kid next door used to watch us from her bedroom window (which was right next to our two-story breakfast nook window.) The day she told me that she watched us go up and down our stairs, I knew we had to get out! Lucky for us, our raft worked!

Finally a really, really redeeming episode. Good stuff.

Anyone notice that when they entered The Dark Territory, Locke's expression seemed to be like that of supressing a smile? He's still treating this situation like he's on an adventure.

I'm glad what Sawyer did for Jack (since we the viewers were all hollering "tell him" at the TV when we first found out) and what Walt did for Shannon. But could the two of them (Jack and Shannon) at least have given a "thank you." Blubbering does not equal thank you. Just once I'd have liked to hear these two characters utter these words.

I absolutely loved the scene with Jin and Sun.

I am annoyed about how little Danielle claims to know about "The Others." So they can run, hide, or die. Fighting isn't an option? Civil discussions over a cup of island spring water? I guess not.

I so much preferred this format to the one character only format. This episode was the first one in quite some time that I didn't get bored with the way the story was going. It is incredible that we learned about as much in a few minutes of single character flashbacks as we have over hours of same character flashbacks.

And finally the single most chilling point of the episode (for me at least):
Danielle's mention of the "security system." I immediately thought "Shardik" (guardian of portal). There's a MAJOR Stephen King, Richard Adams (Watership Down) and sci-fi reference all rolled into one.

I forgot to mention last night, but that girl in the bar talking Jack definitely has to have a bigger part. She said she was way in the back of the plane. Also, Rose's husband was in the bathroom which was probably in the back of the plane. So, I think that could support the theory of other survivors.

Michelle Rodriguez does a lot of movies, though, so I can't imagine her being a recurring character next season.

Okay I had the worst day yesterday. First I had to spend 3 1/2 hours at the dentist getting a cap put in. First the receptionists messed up and gave me an appointment then apparently didn't put it in the system so I didn't actually have one. The dentist said she would do it anyway, which was a good thing because if I had had to waste the Ativan I took I would have been a little PO'd. Then because I didn't have an appointment she had to do it around the patients that did have one so it ended up taking 3 1/2 hours.

Then I fell asleep on the couch and MISSED THE FIRST 25 MINUTES OF THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! again. And then I couldn't get on this site last night so I could ask what I missed. HELP!!!

About the ship, yes it was old, it looks like an old pirate ship. As for it being well preserved, that will be a mystery. On a tropical island it should have been only in pieces by now, the heat and humidity should have destroyed it.

What if the Island is some sort of time warp thing and "the others" are the remaining people from the plane that went back in time, now that would explain why they are introducing the girl that Jack met in the airport and discussing where she was sitting !

As much as I want them to be rescued, the raft CAN'T work. It would mean the end of the show. And they can't die out there because they CAN'T kill off Sawyer. They just couldn't do that to us!!!!

I got teary-eyed with the Jin/Sun scene and steaming mad with the Shannon/Sayid scene at the airport. They make an amazing job making Shannon so hate-able

A reasonable explanation for how the ship ended up in the middle of the jungle could be a tidal wave or typhoon, hurricane, floods from monsoon (depending on where they actually are). Of course this is Lost and I'm sure the explanation won't be that simple.

Someone on another board looked up the type of ship it supposedly is and dates back to the 16-19th centuries. If the ship is that old, it wouldn't look as good as it does unless something really freaky is going on.

I was also LMAO at Hurley's comment about the name Leslie. He and Artz seem to play well off each other.

We're supposed to see more of Michelle Rodriguez (airport girl) next week and I'm excited to see how that will play out.

I'm sooo happy Lost is coming on at 8pm central next season.

Here in Canada Lost will be televised on thursday next week because of the American Idol finale being live 2 hours on wednesday. It's great that I don't have to choose but it will be hard waiting an extra day to watch the last episode of Lost!

Of course we didn't get to see the previews for next week either.

WHAT??!!!!!! It better not!!!! OMG - I'm going to check out next week's schedule right away. There's no way I'm waiting an extra day to catch the show! Is this CTV again???? ARgggghhh.

Are you sure we won't be able to watch it on the American network if it won't be preempted?
