Is that from CSI?

I like the "Sawyer" hair and the five o'clock shadow better. He's still hot, though.
Very Good-I like the way you think-thanks for the info.
:goodvibes Thank you! And you're welcome.

I fell a little let down, I thought they were going to reveal some good secrets. Although I have to ask, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE HAND COMING OUT OF THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has that happened yet? I did miss an episode and a half of another.

I recorded 20/20 and haven't seen it yet, but was the hand from the scene where Charlie digs up out of the cave (after the cave-in with Jack)?

That is a cute pic of Josh. And it is from CSI. I recognize George Eads. I knew that ear and vest were familiar. Don't ask me how but when you asked that Bengalbelle it hit me where I had seen it before

I don't know, I thought it was a womans hand. I can't remember if that is Charlies or not.

I'll watch it in the morning and if I can figure out what it is I'll post if no one else has.

Yes, it is from CSI. He looks so different.

I missed most of 20/20. A hand coming out of the ground? Maybe it's Ethan.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the hand.. "Oh crap! Ethan isn't dead!!" ;) Then Matthew told me that was Charlie's hand coming up from the ground when he dug out of the cave.

There must be something else to the story about Sayid and Nadia. Sayid seemed so in love with her and I find it odd that he was so quick to "hook up" with Shannon. He seems like the type to be pretty true in heart and technically they have only been on the island one month which isn't really that long to give up "all" hope of ever getting rescued.

I don't know if that is necessarily true. Sayid has been through A LOT with the suicide of his friend and then the plane crash. Even if it has been only a month on the island, that has been a VERY long month! Sayid is probably one of the few on the island that really understand what what they are/will be facing on that island. Therefore, I think he also understands that their chances of being rescued are pretty slim. Before the crash, it was my understanding that he hadn't seen Nadia for a long time. Yes he may still love her deeply, but he hadn't had contact with her in a while and she isn't physically on the island with him, experiencing the things he has been experiencing.

I said the same thing to my husband. If he was so in love with Nadia that he betrayed a frend and former roommate then why is he so quick to jump Shannon? She isn't all that.

Just watched it and it was the scene from The Moth where Charlie digs out of the cave-in.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't give any clues or secrets and mostly repeated what had been written in various articles before, but I thought there were some really interesting things in the show.

First, I loved that they showed how the music was recorded for the show. It is beautiful music and I love that they use a live orchestra.

On spoiler threads and message boards people have been speculating about which TV shows/movies Lost is paralleling. Obviously they're using lots of different shows/movies for inspiration.

I had no idea JJ Abrams was so young.

I knew how some of the characters came to be on the show, but I didn't know that they had such a short time to get everyone cast and start production. I'm even more impressed at what they've put out in such a short time. To think that execs at ABC went to JJ and said they wanted a show about plane crash survivors and this is what he came up with is incredible.

There was one thing I found interesting and that was JJ Abrahms saying that where they are isn't so whacky. (not his exact words) But he went on to say that it's a believable storyline. I'm really glad to hear this. I kept thinking that if this ends up being a farfetched idea, like they're being manipulated by aliens, that I was going to be upset.

I only caught the end of the show, but I saw one guy (not sure who he is) saying that they think the audience wants them to kill off characters. He said that we would probably think it's more believable if some of them got killed off. I sort of disagree with that. Yes, some people will have to be sacrificed, they are stranded on an island with no medical help, monsters, etc. However, if it's the main characters they are going to keep killing off, I may just lose interest after awhile.

When the show first came on, of course we all watched it because of the storyline. Since then, we've become attached to these characters and it could ruin the show if they kill too many of the main ones off. JMO.

YES! They also said there is a reasonable explanation for everything. I forgot about that part and I agree with you. It makes it so much more interesting to me to think that this could actually (not really, but you know) happen somewhere.

That was Damon Lindelof, co-creator of Lost. I hope he knows what he's doing!

I wasn't so sure about the watchers wanted to see people being killed off either. I agree, once we become really attached to characters, to kill them off is a mistake. Think about this....there's a reason Star Trek always sent that "nobody" with the regulars to beam down and investigate. We couldn't bear to see Kirk, Spock or Scottie killed, so they brought in a decoy. We always knew he or she was a goner, but it was ok. We didn't have an attachment to him/her. I sure hope we don't see too many of the leads get killed off. They're all so grateful to be in the show, they'll be devastated to be killed off so soon!

I too was happy to hear there was a logical explanation for what's happening on the island. Obviously there's some strange stuff happening (invisible monsters for one) but I'll be happy as long as it doesn't get too far from the realm of what's believable.

I had noticed the amazing musical score during the shows. I think it adds just the right emotional touch to LOST.

When I saw that part of the show I actually said to my friend who was watching that "No we don't". I was thinking about all of us on here when I said it. I especially liked the part where she said something to one of them about all of the people on the internet who are talking about the show.

I had heard this in interviews before and when you think about it if there was something supernatural going on we would all be very disappointed. To me it is much spookier if it is logical and can happen.
