My dh pointed out that the black and white stones that Jack found in the pouch on the corpse were reminiscent of the backgammon pieces that Locke showed Walt... is this just representative of the division into 2 groups or is there more to it?

I agree last night's episode was a slower one, but I still liked it. DH complained there wasn't enough action this week. Glad we got some info on the Korean couple though. Their story was really bugging me. I'm hoping they do Sayid or Charlie next. Also what happened to Rose? She hasn't been on too many episodes. I thought she was going to be more major of a character.

I understand about the Asian mafia angle and how that changed Sun. But, I don't get what changed the heart of their loving relationship. He was distant, sure. But, when did he become so controlling and almost abusive to Jin? I didn't see that angle developed very well.

Any ideas?

Dh and I thought he was using her to get into work with her father. It seemed to me he only wanted the money.

He probably didn't want her finding out what he actually did for her father, so becoming controlling might factor in. Plus, after beating up or killing people on a regular basis might have something to do with how he began to treat her. Also, having to do her father's dirty work may have made him feel like his life was out of control, so controlling her may be all he had left.

After seeing the black and white stones, Jack made the comment that the dead body was a woman. He knew what the stones were. I'm guessing they have religious meaning - some sort of cult or tribal artifacts? Perhaps the cave had significance to the deceased person.
