I called this morning to book a March reservation and was given a confirmation number. I keep everything on my computer and keyed in the confirmation number while the CM was talking to me, but before I was able to save the document, my computer shut down on me, and yes, lost the confirmation number. I called back to see if they could give it to me, and she wasn't able to find it. She found my February reservations, but not the ones for March that I had just booked. She didn't act like it was a big deal, since they had been made that day (maybe hadn't downloaded down into the system?), but after hearing about all of the computer problems today, I'm a little concerned. I know I will get my confirmation letter in the mail, but should they show up on the CRO system before then - just to give me peace of mind. I checked my credit card statement, and there was a hold processed today for the exact amount of the deposit. Should I be worried? Should I call back tomorrow to re-check it again - I really do want to add a room request onto it - or am I just going to have to wait until I get my confirmation letter and cross my fingers? I'm a worry wart/control freak, can you tell?
