Lost AP, Need discount

We are getting in late wednesday the 10th(after midnight) we have to us the AP discount because there weren't any rooms aval. for points. I can't find our APs for the life of me. Will they let it slide for that night so I can show then the next day after we go to the parks and get knew ones printed. Anybody ever have this happen?

Head to guest relations as soon as you can and provide your DL. That should get you new APs.

If anything, they should offer to let you present the AP within 24 hours of arrival to maintain the discount. It's not uncommon for folks to book AP rates with the intention of buying the APs during their first theme park visit of the trip.

That said, having used the AP discounts myself I can safely say that more often than not they don't even ask to see the pass. At least that's true of my experiences.

I would call the passholder # & explain the situation. Ask if a replacement (or letter of verification, maybe?) can be sent over to the hotel in time for your arrival.

The front desk cm's are totally within the rules to require a rack rate payment at time of check-in if you cannot produce the AP so don't shoot the messenger if it happens. They are only doing their job.

I know it's different depending on what CM you get, but I've used my AP for room discounts at least 30 times and I've never been asked for the actual pass. However, like PP stated, I do beleive they give at least 24 hours to produce the card!

I have used the AP numerous times also, there have been times I was not asked for it and then there were two that I was, On one of those two, we were in the renewal process, I had to go to guest relations to pick it up. The cast member asked me to bring it back by the next day, I did and he thanked me.

They can replace your AP for you at any Park Guest Relations area. Go there first then to the resort if you are worried. I wasn't asked to show mine the last time.
