Losing a Tooth at Disney

My daughter lost her tooth right before her BBB picture session. They put it in a bag of Tinkerbell's pixie dust and gave her a celebration pin. I think they even sang to her.

My daughter lost her first tooth in the Land. Every time we enter the building, she reminds us "this is where I lost my first tooth".

My son just lost his tooth in Epcot last week! We told him that Tinkerbell takes over for the tooth fairy while in Disney World.. she left him 5 Disney dollars. when I bought the disney dollars, the cm gave me a " Im Celebrating" pin for him.

Yep, Tink has all jurisdiction over lost teeth at WDW and tends to be a bit more generous than to tooth fairy! :)

Have fun with it! :)

This thread reminds me of a funny.
A few years ago when our youngest son was about 4/5 yo we had one of those Doh. moments at WDW.
We had just checked into the Poly, late, after a full day of traveling, and we were all pretty tired, but hungry. We went to Kona cafe to grab some dinner and relax. We were all in kind of a gigglie, over-tired mood. My youngest son proclaims his hot dog tasted like teeth! WTH ??? We didnt think too much about it, figuring he was just joking aroud like the rest of us.
Well the next morning while getting ready for one of the parks, we noticed he was indeed, missing one of his teeth!:scared1: Yep, he ate it for dinner the night before, guess we should have listened to him better. Needless to say, we never got that tooth back!:rolleyes1

A friend's son lost his first tooth at Disney...they told the CM's at POR and he got a stuffed animal in his room from the tooth fairy.

My DD5 just lost her first tooth while there over Easter. We were staying off property so couldn't get a CM involved by Tink made a visit to our rental home too, leaving a dollar with a Tinker Bell pin in it. DD was very happy!:tinker:

My son has lost 2 teeth at Disney - 1 at dinner at the California Grill. Even before we had Owner's Lockers, I always carried a little vial of glitter so that if Tinkerbell decided to leave a little gift, there would be a trail of pixie dust. :) So the tooth fairy left a little gift and a dollar and when DS saw the glitter, he said "Tinkerbell helped the tooth fairy find me!" He totally believes in that. :)

That little bottle of glitter is safe in a Locker, awaiting some surprise gift use in 60 days. :thumbsup2

My son lost a tooth while at our first trip to DL. Lo and behold, the Tooth Fairy brought him five disney dollars. He thought that was awesome!

My niece lost a tooth just before Wishes started.

As it was just the two of us, I didn't have time to get anything without her seeing me. She carefully placed it under her pillow in a ziplock bag.

She checked a few times. I finally managed to buy her two Jibbetz -one Tink and one Stitch (her favorite) without her seeing a few days after she lost the tooth.

My DD lost her first tooth on DCL-Magic. I knew it was about to happen, so I was prepared. Our tooth fairy would leave pixie dust (glitter) from where the tooth fairy got into the room and when she made her tooth pick up, $1, and the kids' favorite - a coin from the last country the tooth fairy visited. Then we would look up the country and learn a fact or two about that county. Can you tell I'm a teacher?

On another DCL cruise, she lost another tooth. I wasn't prepared that time. I figured since we were out of the country I could easily use a US coin. After a late showing of a movie, I put the children to bed and sent my DH to guest services for pixie dust around 2 AM. My poor DH, the CM asked what she could help him with and he said he needed some pixie dust and the response wasa deadpanned answer "Really sir, what can I help you with?" After explaining what he was doing, she gave him some pixie dust.

Sadly these days are behind us. Enjoy the magic of childhood.

I LOVE this idea!! :goodvibes

Our DD actually lost a tooth 2 different trips on Splash Mountain. If you are trying to lose a tooth, this is the ride.

Last year Tink tried to pull my DS's tooth out for him-He had shown her it was loose and so she was going to help him but he chickened out-she made a big deal with Fawn about it. Enough that when it fell out the next night he insisted we go back and stand in line again to show her

His fell out at Tonys-He got a pin and a certifiacte, we got fp's and he and my other son got the light up toy from the drinks

Here's a suggestion-

My DH likes to use the dollar gold coins- they're more exciting than the dollar bills or regular coins. He's got them several times at our local bank. If it happens in Disney, then that would be great as a pirate's theme for boys, or the Lost Boys in Tinks case.

My son lost a tooth at Disneyland in May 2008, and then lost another at WDW in August 2009!! That one he lost on the Crush N Gusher. He came out the shoot with his father and had a weird look on his face. They got out of their tube and my son turned to his father and handed him to the tooth.

We will be in WDW in 12 days and my 5 year old DGD has a loose tooth. I so hope she loses it there. I would think I could get her a 'Lost First Tooth' button or something! I'll take something along like some Disney Dollars or a gift from Tinkerbell.
I told her mother not to give her any solid food until our trip!;)

My DD had a very loose tooth during a trip 8 years ago. We bought her a tooth fairy pillow at wdw that had the three fairies from sleeping beauty on it. It fell out a few days after we got home.
