Is it really the best deal to wait and get the LOS passes when you check into the Vacation Club Destination....I heard you get the best discount and sometimes they give you the pass for the fullstay but charge you for one less day...is this true?

I don't like the LOS - but then I can't do that many things in one trip.

Yes you get a discount

No and yes - if you decide upon arrival - that you won't be able to make to any theme parks or PI or DQ that night - or the day that you leave - they will take those days off your pass. but no you can't have them take off your arrive day and then expect to be able to go to PI that night.

I am not a fan of LOS. I don't think theya re such a good deal. We really lost out 2 trips ago when someone got sick and we couldn't go into the parks - it's bye bye to those days.

I generally buy 7 day hoppers and just use them on more than one trip. It makes the cost per day less.

I understand you layout the money in advance but I look at this way....I can afford to go back sooner as hotel (DVC owner) and passes are paid for already, all I need is air and food. I must be driving the accountants on the board crazy with my math skills but it lets me sneak in an extra trip which is everyones goal:p

I've never been a fan of the LOS/UPH passes....

For one thing, they expire as soon as you leave... So you feel like you have to get the most out of the pass by going into the parks everyday... Leads to a commando style trip...

With the regular PH passes, they never expire... So if you don't use all of the days in this trip, you can save them for the next... You can take a day off and hang by the pool or go shopping at DD guilt free.
