Has anyone seen deals/coupons for this movie?
The lowest price I can find for the reg (not blu-ray) dvd is $16.99 at Rite Aid.

TIA

I was just coming to see if there was a thread about this. I need to do some research and see what I find! I want to get the Bluray/

Sub! Promised my kids I'd get it since I wouldn't pay to take them to the theater! :rolleyes1

Is there anything "extra" that's worth getting the blu ray over the dvd?

I think I saw Lorax at target this week for $19.99 for the DVD/Blu-Ray version.

So far Target has the best price I have found for both the DVD or combo packs. Best Buy is currently giving 5.00 coupons toward movies if you trade in any DVD. So maybe find something you dont watch anymore. That said if I recall correctly the price ends up being near what Target is at for their sale price after the coupon.

There was a $3 Mail-In Rebate coupon in this past Sunday's paper - I think you had to buy Sun-Maid raisins.

Walmart has a combo pack - DVD/BlueRay/Digital - with a little stuffed Lorax... I got one for DD earlier - $24.99.

My DD is 14 - saw the Lorax at the theater 4 times - the drive in once - and they are reshowing this week at the drive in (along with Ice Age) and we are going again. There is this whole "fandom" related to the Lorax and the Onceler.

The movie's message is very touching - I cried both times I saw it!

I got the Bluray/DVD/Digital Copy/Ultra Violet Copy combo pack from Amazon for $19.99. I pre-ordered it a couple of days ago and received it today, even though I was expecting to get it on the 9th.

itunes has it for $14.99 (SD)

It may be possible to burn it onto a dvd. I don't know. We actually do not have a dvd player, just plug our computer to the TV with the HDMI cable to watch dvd's & streaming video.

The kids are happy because they can watch on their iPods too.

Blockbuster has it for $19.99 and you get $10 in Blockbuster gift cards for free. Just bought it on my way home. I knew nothing about the deal until she was handing me the $10 in gift cards. :cool1:

IMO, $14.99 for a non-physical copy, standard definition (non-widescreen/non-HD) movie isn't a very good deal.

Plus, you cannot "burn" iTunes purchases to a DVD or other removable media...

Best to spend the extra 5 bucks at Amazon.com and get the Blu-ray Disc/DVD/Digital Copy (which can be redemmed on iTunes/UltraViolet copy (which can be redeemed for a HD copy on either Universal's UV site, or the Vudu streaming service).

We'll probably go that route too.
