Naw, I read it just fine

I went with my "don't always" rather than your "generally", but I did debate the wording on that. I've thought about it, and yep, management's decisions generally do make sense -- because the vast majority of decisions made by management are either unnoticeable or don't directly affect my job. The decisions I and my co-workers actually
notice are the incredibly stupid decisions, made by people who don't really understand what our jobs entail, and couldn't do our jobs for even an hour if they tried.

We deal with those bad decisions every single day, try to get it noted for the record that we object, and why we object, then just do our best until they figure out for themselves that it was a bad decision and change policy. Some of those decisions are astonishingly bad, but I can't/won't discuss specifics in a public forum (for obvious reasons)...annnnnnnnnd...we've gotten a bit off the topic of lobster, or the lack thereof, at WDW.
So...as far as the add-a-tail being removed from the menu...I did ask the CM why it would be removed instead of just noted on the menu as an exclusion from the DDP, like the rotisserie chicken at Tangierine or the sushi at Wolfgang Puck's. The CM didn't know why, and I believe he did say the employees had asked management to do that instead of removing the option from the menu entirely. It's a very popular item and the specialty of the house there, probably a lot of people, both on and off the DDP would pay for it OOP, so who knows why they chose to remove it?

He did also indicate that it's still available, you just have to ask for it and be willing to pay OOP.
