DH has been suffering with neck and shoulder pain for several months and has just been put on the waiting list for surgery to removed a prolapsed disc in his neck, this could be as late as August so we have reluctantly taken the adult decision that possibly four weeks after surgery he is not going to be in a fit state to travel or to ride anything much. My 11 year old took it much more sensibly than me! know its the correct thing to do but my inner 3 year old is having a tantrum and wants to go now ! Thanks for listening to my moan Gill

I know that feeling. We had to cancel our first ever trip when dd got chickenpox two days before we were due to go.

Would you not be able to transfer it to a later date, that way you still have something to look forward to.
Hope your husband gets sorted out soon.
