Looks like MLK Weekend 2008 is gonna be crowded!

We're arriving Jan 12 and leaving on the 19th. We were basically able to book any room on property for the 12-17. We are in a ASM Family Suite. The night of the 18th we're having to move to Pop Century as this is the only value or mod that had a room for the night. CM said the weekend is going to be packed as they are already at 90% capacity thru all the resorts! Glad we're leaving on Sat. and will miss much of the crowds.

When do people usually arrive? is it Friday? we leave Friday the 18th so hoping we will miss most of the crowds.

We had no problems getting a room for Sat-Thurs, but had problems with Friday so I'm assuming most people arrive on Fri and leave on Monday!!

the parks really clear out after monday though, atleast they did last year.

We're going down around that time and I was able to find lots of availability at the moderates/deluxes for the 18th on the website.

I haven't booked anything yet- waiting for a discount to come out in a month or so.

I had ressies at WL for Jan 20-26 and had to switch to CBR this morning ...they had plenty of rooms and I switched with no problems at all . I was told the only fully booked resort was CSR.
