Are there still lots of loungers on the family beach near the water? I watched a video recently where they said there aren’t many loungers on the water anymore because of the tide.

Just watched a video of someone that visited a couple weeks ago and there was a swarm around their food. They did note that no one else around them seemed to be having an issue with fliesOk. How about the![]()

No they don’t give out umbrellas, people have been bringing their own. Yes only one tram stopI’ve seen people walk the long pier to the tram with umbrellas that say Lookout Cay, do they give those out? It seems like there is just one tram spot, so nothing to choose?
Lolll. Oh My.The walk over the pier was very pleasant, but I can see how it will quickly become an ordeal in the hot sun. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Even in the rain! The water is the most amazing shade of turquoise as well. As far as the infrastructure goes; it needs about 20 years of development. It is very bland, basic and boring. While we were on the beach, a refrigerator floated in and washed ashore. A lifeguard and some guests went out and dragged it up on the beach. In time, I imagine Lookout Cay will have as much character as Castaway Cay does. That being said, I do want to revisit Lookout Cay on a future cruise with some better weather.
We were on that cruise too. Watched the fridge come closer and closer…lol The fridge was all red too I was afraid to see what was in it….lolI haven't been on in a bit. We went on the Fantasy during Fall Break that we combined with a visit to Universal Studios. This was shortly after Milton went through central Florida. The waters had a lot of movement and it was windy most of the time. Nassau and Lookout Cay were both pretty rainy. I think some of the rough water was due to the small hurricane that developed and hit Eastern Cuba. I think that cruise was the roughest I've been on and that includes an Alaska cruise.

That was the trip we did have a lot of flies when we were trying to eat.
They had a lot of families on the adult beach too.
Yep. One of the people there was really interested in one of the stickers on it. I just hope it was there because of the hurricanes and not because trash is going to be a regular occurrence. We were on that cruise too.
