The nature trail is but not the bikesAre the bike path and nature trail open now?
My understanding is that neither were open for the initial cruises.
We set sail on July 20th and would love to rent bikes and also walk the nature trail
People have been moving chairs down into the oceanWe sail in October on a 4 night cruise aboard the Fantasy, kid free. We have debated about changing ships because the only time we get off is on the private island. (We prefer just to enjoy the ship and are not fans of Nassau). We were so excited to try Lighthouse Point; however, the one thing I want to do is sit in a chair with my feet in the water, read, and just enjoy the ocean. Are there actually chairs by the water to do this? It seems that all the chairs are before the dunes.
Great-Thnx MAGSThe flies aren’t a problem anymore
It seems to vary by sailing. We were originally told that it was only the first few that would be later. It seems to be based on where you’re coming from before going there. Why is the time that people can get off the boat so late? On our September cruise it appears to be around 10:15 people can get off the boat to head to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point... with a 5:30 return time... seems a little crammed for early dinner!
Yes but it isn’t as quiet closer to the family beach sideAs you know, Serenity Bay on CC doesn't have the loud music playing that is on the family beach side. Is that the same for LC?
Yup talked to my friend Anthony and he said this. I can’t wait for October 2025The flies aren’t a problem anymore
Thanks!Yes but it isn’t as quiet closer to the family beach side
That’s great to hear. We go in November and was hoping it would be fixed by then. The flies aren’t a problem anymore
Thanks! Hopefully they'll have the bikes later this year. The nature trail is but not the bikes
It really depends on how far up the family beach you are. If you are more towards the serenity bay side of the beach it is really close. If you are in that general area it is only a few minutes away. If you are down more near Sebastian’s Cove it is at the other side of the family beachCan anyone provide a good map that shows where splash pad area is in relation to family beach? I’ve watched videos but no one has gone from splash pad directly to beach that I’ve seen. Wondering how far it is
We were there last week and saw a few photographers looking for people who wanted to be photographed. They have cute magic shots too.Ohhh one more question. Do shutters photographers come onto the family beach? One of my favorite pictures is of my husband and girls in the ocean at castaway. Thank you so much!
We were there on the 20th and just brought chairs from behind the dunes out into the water. The sand and water are so wonderful that we pretty much stayed there all day and didn’t see any of the performances. There is a row of chairs, loungers and umbrellas on the beach itself - there’s just more up behind the dunes. I can’t speak to the family beach area, but we were able to get chairs to sit on the waters edge over on the Serenity Bay section.
There’s no truly noticeable divide between the two beaches, however, aside from a gap in cheers and a lifeguard station, so if your goal is to be kid free, you might want to be further down the Serenity Bay beach. While cast members would eventually ask children to leave the serenity side if they got in the water, it wasn’t strongly enforced from what we saw.
We were just there June 20th and were told 10:15, but at 9:15 an announcement was made that the ship was cleared much quicker than expected and we were able to get off an hour early. So you never know. Why is the time that people can get off the boat so late? On our September cruise it appears to be around 10:15 people can get off the boat to head to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point... with a 5:30 return time... seems a little crammed for early dinner!
We were there last Thursday. There weren’t any flies in the eating areas.Hey guys has anyone been on the Lookout Cay cruise as of late? I REALLY need to know about the flies- that is going to be a deal breaker to go there-just need enough time to budget to go on the Magic to the carribbean
I don’t think there was loud music playing on either. We were there last week and on the family beach close to Serenity Bay. So no, there’s no loud music on the adult beach. It was very peaceful, and actually pretty empty. As you know, Serenity Bay on CC doesn't have the loud music playing that is on the family beach side. Is that the same for LC?
