We are on the august 22 sailing and I’m super excited. If I bring my own snorkel equipment do I need to get the swim vest?

We are on the same sailing! We're bringing our own gear, also. On CC the vest was required whether you used their gear or your own. I'm assuming it will be the same on LC.

No there is no designated area. And also no sunken treasures like CC, but lots of marine life

To be honest I don’t remember I have touched the railings. I’ll check that and get back to you!
To get to the beach you go over the stairs or there is ramp too if you find stairs difficult

Thanks! I noticed no one in videos was touching the rails. Most likely, because they don’t have to.

Nice to hear ramps exist. Wonder if they have rails.

Can you guess what I depend on for going up and down? Rails! Love them in bathrooms with low toilets, too.

is the evolution of a new property interesting? And positive progress?

Have you found a spot or spots to capture a long-progression of greenery growth for the coming years?

Yes. You don't have to inflate it, however. It's a safety precaution so they can see you in the water due to the bright color.

As you know, Serenity Bay on CC doesn't have the loud music playing that is on the family beach side. Is that the same for LC?

Why is the time that people can get off the boat so late? On our September cruise it appears to be around 10:15 people can get off the boat to head to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point... with a 5:30 return time... seems a little crammed for early dinner!

Ohhh one more question. Do shutters photographers come onto the family beach? One of my favorite pictures is of my husband and girls in the ocean at castaway. Thank you so much!

What side of the ship faces the island?

We did both the DVC member cruise and the 3-night immediately following. Port side faced the island on the first day (onshore 10:30am) and Starboard second day (onshore 8:30am), but on the 3-night it was Port side (onshore 10:30am).

I suspect it will be Port side most of the time, but it may depend on your next destination or destination coming from.
