Looking to update our camcorder - any recommendations?

Hi all,

Thinking about updating our camcorder to a little diddy digital one as we find our old Canon a little cumbersome and bulky. Do you have any recommendations??

The Sony PC range (PC 8, 9 101, etc) or the JVC P3 are all excellent small cameras. Great picture and sound, long battery life, easy to carry around and simple to use. Visit http://www.whatcamcorder.net or http://www.camuser.co.uk for info and reviews. Both these magazines will have lots of advertisers offering prices far lower than High Street dealers.

Just seen a Canon MV5 for £629 - are they any good??? I'm just off to study the magazines so I'll have a look for any reviews. Do you think we'll be able to sell our old camcorder on Ebay, it's a Canon UCX 30Hi?
