Looking to Rent VWL Oct 31 04 Five Nights

I am new to this board. I would like to take my famly to Disney this Oct 31 through Nov 5 and would like to stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. It seems to be booked up. How do these points work? Does their first need to be availability, and then a reservation is paid for with the points, or do the points represent an open slot and therefore entitlement to a room? Thanx, Andrew.

There needs to be availability first and then someone will make the reservation for you with their points ---- unless someone posts that they have a confirmed reservation that they are trying to 'rent'. You can keep reading the Board to see if someone with a confimed reservation posts that it's available, but it's a long shot that it will be for exactly the dates, resort, and size of villa you're looking for.

If you've read posts on this Board, you know that this is a very popular time for DVC properties and reservations are usually made months ago. Good luck!
