Looking to go in on a Photo Pass

I'd really like to go in on a photo pass. I can't imagine getting DH to agree to get the pass on our own, but I love the idea of me being in some pics and getting some of our entire family.
I'm going 3/28-4/4 (only three days of it at the parks, though). I'd be happy to join in on someone who is going (or has recently gone) before me. Or, I'm happy to "start" one and have others add on.
I believe that the CD's hold up to 300 pictures. I'd be willing to go in with up to 4 other people (for a total of 5), that would be up to 60 pictures apiece. I'd also be willing to go in with just one or two more.
Thanks!

I'd love to join in on one. We didn't get it last time as we thought it was too much money for the few pictures we had taken. We will be in DL from April 14th-18th.

I'd LOVE to pair up with someone going in June :) We will be there from the 17th to the 22nd :)

Is it necessary to buy the entire CD or can we just purchase a couple of our favorites?

I *think* it's $99. As for picking and choosing, I'm not sure as I've never done that.

Wish I could go in with someone. We aren't going again until 2008.

I think they raised the price to $124 - BUT this includes graphics and such. . . you can add these to your pictures :)

I've never done photo pass at DLR. But at WDW, you could indeed order a print on spot of any photo on the photo pass. Price was dependent upon size.

I've never done the photopass anywhere, so everything I've seen has been second hand. One story I've heard is that someone ordered three or four 5 x 7's from the photopass and it cost almost as much as the photopass (at the time) cost! I think they said something like "for the $30 difference, I could have gotten the entire CD".

That's one of the main reasons I thought this would be a good idea. We could get a few pictures by just ordering them, or we could go in on a CD with others and pay less and get more pictures! Like I originally said, even if there were 5 people, we'd still each get 60 pictures.

I just recieved my photopass CD that I ordered. I was able to combine a December DL trip and a January WDW trip on the same CD, so if you need more people to go in on it, you could go over to the WDW board as well.

I think it is worth it because I had 160 pictures and after edits I have 260 pictures.

If you just pick a few pictures instead of getting the CD, here are the prices: One 5x7 from Disney is $12.95, an 8x10 is $16.95, and a 5x7 with 4 wallets is $19.95.

Basically, you could get a whole CD for the price of 10 pictures. I also like that you get the rights to the photos and can have them ordered at anytime. I like to scrapbook, but I usually don't get around to making the pages for a while and you can only get the pictures until 2 months after the trip. It might be a year later by the time I get around to scrapbooking and it would be then that I figure out what pictures I want. It is around 30 cents per 5x7 if I go through Costco, so once I paid for the CD, the expense is very little.
