Looking to buy DVC points resell need advice

IMO Aulani hasn't sold or booked as expected, I don't think that they will build outside of WDW for awhile. Bill

Ah but Aulani is not a park location. I can imagine Paris being quite popular with European Disney DVCer's. I wonder if that would be a big enough market to consider doing it. We are in the UK and would definitely buy in.

If they could build AT the park maybe, I'm sure they have research to say. They've already bailed once on the opportunity and now Marriott has a resort fairly nearby. They also have a history of allowing poor sales off property affect other potential choices.

These were on the windows of every room above ground floor at Saratoga Springs so not hard to find.

When we stayed at SSR in June I saw those Mickey icons on many windows. We were on the second floor and didn't have them on our studio sliding door. In fact all of the Mickeys I saw seemed to be placed on windows versus doors. I wonder who did it and why they were placed on the windows?

yep. if i go to DLP, i wouldn't use DVC pts, i would stay at the marriott villas.

I have noticed that they are on what appear to be bedroom windows too. Anyone else remember when people used to put decals on kids' bedroom windows to alert firefighters in case of emergencies? Stopped doing them because of predators, etc.

From what I understand this is exactly why the Mickey decals are on the windows. Those are the bedroom windows in the non-studio rooms, and the decals are there to alert emergency personnel in the case of an emergency.

Does any other DVC resort have the stickers? They weren't on the windows at VGF or AKV in May but were on the SSR windows when we switched to there in early June.

I would think that is because the entrance to the room at SSR is outside so they can enter through the window. At the others you listed, the room entrance is inside the building. Not positive though but that seems logical to me.

Being a firefighter in the uk it would be logical if it was the other way round, if you entrance to the rooms was inside the building then due to location of the fire you may need to gain access to rooms from outside, having the logos would then be useful but if the door was outside then it would not have the same hazards so you may not need to worry about gaining entry from the windows in the same way.

Who knows?
