Looking to 2023...Idaho, Montana, and more

[Part-Time Paradise]

I've got my summer 2022 plan setting in concrete right now. I need to work on my spread sheet for the 2022 MidWest DISMeet more, but I'm looking towards 2023. DW and I have decided to pass on AK, though that was my dream. Her stay at home business can't take being gone that long. So we landed on going west again.

My general thought is to head out of KC towards Dinosaur Natl Mnmt in CO/UT. Then head towards Craters of the Moon NP and spend some time in Idaho. From there we'd head to Glacier NP and then east through MT to Theodore Roosevelt NP in ND and then work my way back to KC.

Does anyone have any locations that are must do in Idaho around Twin Falls, Arco, and in and around Sawtooth National Forest or in Montana along the US 87/MT 200 or US 2 corridors?
