Looking into renting points for May...help!

Hi all!
I am possibly interested in renting a villa for a upcoming trip. We'd be looking at May 2-7 2007. There are 3 adt and 3 chd. (maybe). How do I find the number of points I need, and find out how much they cost?

To find out the number of points you need, you can go to the "DVC Points Charts" link at the top of the page, or just click here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-vacation-club/DVCpoints.shtml. You can look at the individual resorts' point charts, or use the point calculator.

The cost for rental will depend on the price set by the member renting them to you. You'll need to look for a renter over on the "Rent/Trade" boards to see if someone is available to help you out. It seems like most points are being rented from $10-$12 per point the last I looked. Good luck!

It will be very important for you to know exactly how many people are going, and everybody's plans will have to be rock-solid. You can't just cancel or change a DVC reservation like you can a regular hotel ressie.

You will definitely be most comfortable in a 2 bedroom, but depending on the resort you choose, someone will still need to be sleeping on a sleep sofa. All BWV 2 bedrooms only actually have 2 real beds and 2 sleep sofas. All OKW 2 bedroom units have 3 real beds and 1 sleep sofa. At BCV and SSR, you have to request a dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 beds in the second bedroom to get that arrangement.

You can get two studios, but there is no guarantee that they will be close to each other and they will not connect.

The cancellation policy is up to the member. They might say no cancellations allowed or they might refund a portion of your deposit/total payment.
