I'll be getting some alone time in the parks in a couple of weeks and I can't wait! My DH will be in a conference and we're leaving the kids at home with the grandparents. Actually taking another trip with them soon, so this was a great opportunity for an adult getaway. Just thought I'd ask you experienced solo travelers what I shouldn't miss. What do you enjoy most when you're at Disney by yourself?

Lingering in the shops looking as "stuff" I find interesting.

Riding Buzz Lightyear 5 times in a row if the lines allow.

Bypassing the rides I've been on before and will only ride again because the kids want to.

People watching at EPCOT in France with a glass of wine or Grey Goose slushy. Add a baguette and plate of cheese from the Boulangerie Patisserie for a nice light lunch.

You will have a great time!

Enjoying the benefit of the "single rider line" to get on rides even quicker!

Fantasyland solo was my favorite this past Oct. Rode it 3 times in a row! My solo day at AK was wonderful too- I loved riding Dinosaur on my own - quite liberating!

hi--this is actually my first post, but i wanted to add this: i went to AK on my own when my husband was at a convention last month (i was attending the same convention, but he had a busier schedule than did i) and i stayed in MK late one night without him, too (so i could leisurely shop and watch the castle lighting). i had a FANTASTIC time. i did a lot of walking around taking pictures at AK--my husband hates when i stop every few feet and crouch down and click--but without him, no one was stopping me! i also went on Dinosaur alone, and stood outside of everest for a good fifteen minutes contemplating it--and wusssed out! it was my first trip to AK ever, and i had a great time!
