Looking for Windowbox suggestions

Hi Everyone,
I have pansies in my windowboxes right now, but thought I'd get some plastic liners and start my "summer" annuals for the boxes to be put out in a few weeks.
I'd really like to put in some lobelia maybe blue or purple, to trail out over the edges...but am stumped for what to put "behind" it.
What do you think?

p.s. the windowboxes get full sun from about noon on.

I'm a big fan of blue and red combos....maybe geraniums would be just the ticket.

The other combination I like with lobelia are french marigolds - the small ones with the orange/red streaks in them.

I know that's not really original, but those are my two favorites.
