Looking for Villains

My DD is into the Disney villains...Any info on where to find them in the parks. We will be there thanksgiving week. She would love to see Maleficent but we here she's a rare sighting.

I also want to know if Tinkerbell is ever out and about?

Last year we saw Cruella right near Town Hall in MK. Jafar was over in the Aladin area with Genie. we never have seen Maleficent. Capt. Hook and Peter Pan and Wendy are over by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (no Tinkerbell).

We've seen Hades in MGM. I'm blanking on other villans. My boys love them too!

I don't think Tinkerbell is ever out as a meet and greet character. You'll have to plan a trip to MNSSHP some year-- as it's a great place to get all the rare vilians. On our 3/03 trip we saw many of them near the MGM hat. It was like one round would be classic characters then the next time they came out it was villians.

I keep hearing that MNSSHP is the place to see the villains. I guess we're just going to have to plan a trip then. It's tough though, DH is a teacher and DD & DS are still in school.

I'm am a creative fairy and so I will begin to work on "strategic planning"


I also figured Tink didn't do the meet & greet thing. I've never heard from anyone who's seen her.

Thanks again for the info. We'll keep watch outside the villains shoppe, If I can get my DD OUT of the shoppe. I just got her a Cheshire Cat lanyard for her pins for our November trip.

We have found quite a few villians at the MK earlier in the morning right when you walk in the park from under the train station. There are always about 20 characters there, and some villians... cruella, the mean guy from pocahontus(completely drawing a blank on his name!) & captain hook. Weve seen Jafar over by Aladdins Carpet ride along with genie, aladdin & jasmine. Weve caught Queen of Hearts over by the Teacups and also in front of the castle after the show there. At MGM, there is a big character meet & greet through out the day around the giant hat. Weve seen the Evil Queen & the Beast there. Im trying to think of other villians.. I need a list !! HEHE

Don't forget to see Fantasmic and visit the Villians En Vouge store at MGM.

Yes, on our first WDW trip, Fanstamic was a hit with everyone. DD 16 loves it. As we are theatre people, that show is terriffic, it's all about the spectacle of the event. Unfortunately on our last nite in 2001, we were seated in the theatre for Fantasmic and the worst storm of the trip came in. Mind you my DD 13 at the time is deathly afraid of bad weather. I was glad to have tennis shoes on to keep up with her. I had to physically hold her because she was so scared... That was an experience in and of itself. The roll of film I shot during Fantasmic, was lost...so we have many reasons to go there.

We'll be on the lookout for villains & princesses, and anyone else we can find. Our goal this trip is to get as many autographs and pictures with characters as we can.

We have seen Maleficent several times near the hat at MGM.

That's terriffic Zippa. I hope we see her...it will be the highlight of DDs trip. DS only wants to see princesses. He's 13 going on 21 and all boy!

We saw Hook and Smee on Main Street, just outside one of the shops on the left side.

Later that day, they had a bunch of villains in the meet and greet tents at the back of MK - I'm not sure what this area is called. This was in a more open air area and not the closed in tents in Toontown, where we saw Cinderella and the two mice.

We saw Gov. Ratcliffe, Prince John and Maleficent - who was aweseome. She continued in character and refused to sign our guest books, and then only after much pleading.

Man, would I love to see Maleficent. She is my hero. My sister-in-law say her back in May when she was at Disney. I hope you find her for your DD. Good luck.
