Looking for umbrella stroller that sits foward not at incline.

The stroller I have now my ds(18 months) doesn't like because it doesn't let him sit all the way upright. He is always fighting to sit up-he is on the short side.I am looking to get a new umbrella style one for our trip and was looking at the Maclaren(quest or triumph) the britax blink, uppa baby g lux or the graco ipo.Does anyone have any of these and can tell me if it sits up far?TIA:thumbsup2

Of all of those I would highly recommend the Triumph. It has good back support an is upright. I've owned a Quest and a Triumph and I like the Triumph better- one of the main reasons being that I like the recline better. It doesn't recline as much, but the Quest's recline mechanism gets in the way of the already hard to reach basket underneath and the Triumph is lighter overall, so it gets my vote. If your son was younger I'd say go with the Quest because of the recline and leg rest, but at his age he doesn't need it. Maclaren is also the best quality out of all of these.

Zooper Twist. I bought ours in 2008 and love it. My son was 20 months when we first got it specifically for disney. It is umbrella fold, large shade, recline, sits up, comes with cup holder, raincover, basket underneath, pockets, easy to fold. My son is almost 5 now and still wants to use it for longer walks. He is on the smaller size for his age but still has lots of room.

I wanted to buy new umbrella strollers for Disney and I just couldn't bring myself to buy an expensive stroller (we needed 2) and we went with the 1st years Jet Stroller. We have used it a lot already and I LOVE it. It sits upright for my little ones (who are little!) and reclines a bit. Everything that is cloth comes off for easy cleaning and it came in pink with castles on it :cool1: It also comes in many other colors as well. Best part is they were $38 each, hold up to 50 lbs (I put a 4.5 year old DN in it no problems), have tall handles, has a basket underneath and have a parents compartment with 4 cupholders and a zippered compartment (this didn't look so sturdy in the pics but it holds 4 large souvenir bottles from our local zoo).

I feel like my Chicco Liteway has a nice upright back. It can be dropped down for napping, but DD sits up fairly tall in it. As far as umbrella strollers, it is pricey at $120 (I think).

We looked at the combi's but dh didn't like the way they rode-I think because of the way they fold up the handlebars seemed to rock more back and forth-he thought it didn't seem sturdy:confused3 I looked at them because I liked the belly bar with the snack holder

Yes, what peemagg said...they are supposed to be like that. I've had all kinds of strollers--pegs, baby jogger, macs and the combi was probably my favorite. :thumbsup2

We have a P3 & the Blink. If you're looking for something smaller, I would recommend the Blink. DD is 3 and LOVES riding in the Blink. She likes to sit up straight too :goodvibes

We have both of those too and I love them both. We got the Blink on clearance at albeebaby.com for $69.
