Looking for suggestions for Jan 2014

OK, so we are thinking of surprising some family members with a trip to Disney. There would be three separate families going 8 adults and two children 3/7. I'm wondering if you can give me some suggestions on where to stay with what would be our best options?

I just read that pricing will be out for packages on July 10th.

Where would we best fit for accommodations? The families are broken down like this Family one 5 adults, Family two 2 adults, and Family 3 1 adult and 2 children. We are thinking a weekend trip Thursday-Monday and I'm looking for the best affordable accommodations with not staying off site.

Dates we are thinking are 1/2/2014-1/6/2014

Would 1 of the Adults in the family of 5 be willing to bunk with the Family of 3 ? That way you could get 3 standard rooms at any Resort. If not and you all want to stay at the same Resort but all Families have their own space, you need to choose a Resort that can sleep 5 right off the bat, that will limit you
Is Budget a concern ?

Rack/Full price rates will be out July 10th.
You can expect to see any promo's and discount probably around august.

Keep in mind most of the promo's have a minimum night stay (For free dining). You may also be able to get a room discount around that time of year as well.

I'd wait to see what promo's come out before you book.
