I am originally from northern maine where it is common to cross over to Grand Falls to grocery shop. A spreadsheet looks a bit like a ledger sheet. Many people have used them to create planning sheets that they can use for their vacation. The one that I created uses Microsoft Excel.

Just a thought, but if you guys have awesome spreadsheets that you would be kind enough to share, it would save a lot of trouble if you'd just post it on Google Docs and make it public access.

I know this is a dumb question, but you need Excel to use the spreadsheets, right? If so, is there some other kind of free program that I can use for this or do you know where I can get a copy of Excel cheap? My computer didn't come with it and I didn't really need it until now.

You can open excel files using Google Docs. It's easy peasy and no software needs to be installed.
