Looking for something new to do on our sons 16th birthday in August.

Our son will have his birthday in Orlando again this year, lost count if this will be the 5th or 6th year running. We usually go bowling and water park and Longhorns. I am thinking of booking something a little different during the day and so far have thought about the hour boat rental at Sammy Duvalls where he can water ski etc, the Zip Line at Gatorland (never been here) or the sky diving place on I drive.
Anyone have any other ideas or things they may have done which would suit an adventurous 16 year old. he got a Go Pro for Xmas which is why I was thinking of the water skiing. Seem to be lots of dicounts but only up to end of June so far so wondering if these places usually have discounts in August. Definitely will be sticking with Longhorns as a tradition and our favourite restaurant in Orlando.

There is a K1 Speed indoor go kart track not that far from the theme park area near Florida Mall. They are electric go karts that go near 50 mph and indoors means no matter the weather you are good to go. We race here quite often and have a blast. They have two tracks to choose from.

Our family did the Screaming Gator Zip Line in November, and we recommend it! It is exciting and fun, and the guides are fantastic.

A company in Cocoa Beach offers flyboarding for around $150. I'm sure it will be an experience he will never forget. We like the broiled rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroads in Titusville for dinner.

Did you sign him up for Longhorn's email club? He can get a free dessert for his birthday.

Dolphin sightseeing at Clearwater Beach! We used the Seascreamer but there are other ones that are probably also good.

You could do the surfing lessons or parasailing. Both were enjoyed by my teens and their friends.
