Looking for road construction updates in USA

Is there a website that lists all the major road construction in the USA? I'd like to be able to avoid those areas if we can...

Usually there's not one for the entire US, but you can get on to each state's individual department of transportation web site. They will have construction updates for all major roads.

If you have member access to the AAA website, they usually include fairly up-to-date road construction alerts on triptiks.
