Looking for reviews on Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

It's no different than any other restaurant and totally depends on when you go.

What an informative post. No different to any other restaurant? Does that mean you can grab something quickly like at Mcdonalds or will you have to wait a year for a table like at The Fat Duck? Maybe it even has a drive thru?

But seriously, whenever we've eaten there you just walk straight in and get a table.

We had to wait about 5 minutes when we ate there. Pretty much the same as most restaurants at the times when we go.

I've eaten at the Miami location twice. I think the food is overpriced and the waitstaff not well trained. For the money, I expect better than they deliver. The theme is cute--but cute only takes you so far. The last straw for me was charging something like $5-6 for a plate of garlic bread which was 4 small pieces. I'd rate the food as average and nothing to make a special trip for.

We enjoy Bubba Gump's. That and Margaritaville are our CityWalk faves.

O/P here - For those that have eaten at Bubba Gump.

Did you have a long wait for a table? They do not accept reservations.

We went for lunch. There was no wait.

I assume the person who asked the question has at least some basic knowledge of what kind of restaurant BGSC is. Why don't you try to go around 6:30 on a Friday night and see if you walk straight in and get a table.

It's good food, not fantastic. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Ditto for many restaurants in Disney / Universal - mostly the overpriced part!

We just got back from Universal and ate at Bubba Gump's our first night there and were let down. The fish and chips at HP were much better! We didn't get anything fancy and didn't get alcohol and our total for 2 adults was $63 (including dessert). I would save up for Mythos instead!

I agree and lets see if you can walk straight in during July at lunch time or diner time cause we go a few times everytime we are there in july and had our longest wait be over an hour and not saying Bubba Gumps is like dining at the Ritz but with crowd levels high your not just going to walk straight up and get a table
