Can anyone provide a list of all the pin books in the parks? My son wants to make sure we are not missing any. We know about the books and boards that can be found at the resorts, with concierge and in the gift shops, and the following:

MK: City Hall, Trading Post in Frontierland, the popcorn tray in the Big Top tent across from Dumbo, and the giant ones that sometimes appear near the ferry entrance
Epcot: pin trading area in front of the fountain, board at Mousegears
AK: board at the shops outside the entrance, and there are a couple of shops that have them inside the park

Not sure I recall any in HS, and we rarely miss the giant board at Fort Wilderness and at the pin trading store in Disney Springs. Is there any we are missing? And does anyone know when the best time is to find Scoop Sanderson? We have had the hardest time locating him after we accidentally bumped into him a few years ago. Is he still on Main Street?

Sadly Scoop has retired from pin trading. You can still meet him but according to @kennythepirate he no longer trades. Ask at shops around the parks that's the best way to find the pin boards - I think sometimes they move - we find new ones and old ones have disappeared.

I have seen a pin board at haunted mansion ( I would just ask any where you are you never know where they might be)

That's great! There is one we didn't know about. Do we just ask the CMs at the entrance or exit? Or is it in Memento Mori?

When I was here it was at the FP podium not sure if it is always there or if it moves

They had pin boards on the side of garbage cans when we were at AK in November

Mk: stroller rental, memento mori sometimes has one - sometimes not, Belle's store in New Fantasyland (I can't remember the name of it) sometimes has one.

DHS: the main shop on the entrance street had one last time I was in there - when you enter the park it's on the left, the pin kiosk on Sunset had one

Epcot: stroller rental area had one

AK: stroller rental sometimes has one, look for the trash can with pins, plus a couple of the stores had one - one had a pin tree, one had a pin Parrot

A tip for the stroller rental ones - don't go to that one right away when it's busy because they can't take the time to bring it out then.
The main thing is to ask - sometimes stores have them and sometimes they don't.

Don't forget to trade with CM's in the stores or at kiosks!

Also look for CM specially managers they some times have good pins

This is great guys, thanks so much. Will make note. I do remember hitting up the stroller rental place in HS once on our way out of the park for dinner. I had almost forgotten that!

I can totally see Guest Relations phasing them out. They are always so busy and need to stand there while you flip through the book. I always feel guilty and make my son flip through quickly so they can move on to the next customer.

When we were there in January they told us they were phasing them out in Guest Relations - AK and EPCOT were already gone - MK and DHS still had them. I *hope * they change their mind and bring them back to Guest Relations

That's too bad. It was a great place to go, but maybe they are too busy with all the Magic Band and new things to deal with pin people.

Can someone share info about the board at fort wilderness? We discovered it last time, but was wondering what time they open it. Also, it sounded like you were saying the pin store in disney springs also has a board, do you have more info on that? What time is it set out/opened up? Thanks!

The pin board at pin traders in DS opens randomly...you never know what time of day they open it...but don't fret - there are many knock off pins and multiples, so it's not that great of a deal :(

OK, dumb question. What's a "pin board"? I'm sure I've seen them, but probably don't recognize it as a pin board. My kids really like the pins, they each have about 20 (which I know is a very small amount, but to them it's a lot). I have started collecting a few and actually keep one of my favorites here at work.

Not a dumb question! A pin board is a bulletin board full of pins that can be traded. Similar to a pin book, but they are only out certain times I believe.

Pin boards are all over the place. One of my favorite places to find pins is early in the day at Animal Kingdom. CM's who are cleaning the park have them on their trash cans. Sometimes there are boards at the concierges. There's a hat at the men's store at grand Floridaian. There's also a board at the far registers at space mountain. I'm one that doesn't like to go to the obvious places. I never trade in Epcot. It's a bit overwhelming to me.

I know this is from a few months ago but isn't the answer to the question is, you can't.
They are everywhere. It is impossible to list where all the boards are. Or are these people talking about something different? I know I see boards at every single register when checking out and books at most every pin kiosk.
