Looking for Pen pal for 10-14-06 cruise

Will be on Magic for double dip cruise on Oct 14,2006. Have two wonderful children, DD 10 and DS 6. They would love to have some pen pals that will be sharing their cruise. Anybody interested? I'm not real computer savvy, took me two years to post a thread, is it appropriate for me to post my e-mail address? I see many of you mentioning PMs. Can you educate me? Do I need to do anything to be able to receive a PM? Would appreciate some of you veterans telling me if this is a good idea. Suggestions welcome..........................Heather

Heather, I've sent you a PM. To read it, click on User CP at the top of the page. Then click on PM's (left hand side control panel). You open and read them just like e-mail, you reply to them just like replying to a post.

Actually, every time I sign on I go to my UserCP first. It will show all activity on threads you have posted on or subscribed to since you were last on line. This is especially helpful if you chose to not be notified by e-mail when you initially registered on the DIS.

Did you know that if you click on a poster's name, you can see their profile, see where they've posted and have the option of sending them a PM and/or e-mail. I personally wouldn't post my e-mail address, since any DISer can contact you via PM. I have shared my e-mail with particular DISers after I've gotten to know them (I've met quite a dozen or so over the years).
