I had the name of a website that you could search for hotel deals (of course based on availbility). It was not anything like PriceLine or Hotels.com.

You entered the city/state you were looking for and a listing of participating hotels came up. You printed the coupon and walked into the hotel (I guess you could call first) and if they had any availability you could get a good rate.

Does anyone know the name of this site?

roomsavers.com?

I hope you are...

We used them and I thought the coupon books you get from the welcome center and some of the stores are just a good....

tripadvisor.com is good too...has lots of info on the hotels and can lead you to links for better pricing.

good luck!

There's a few. They actually started out as magazines that you could pick up at gas stations and coffee shops. I still grab them every time we go to Denny's, just to have something to page through. In fact, I have one in front of me right now (went to IHOP last night).

This one references hotelcoupons.com. Roomsavers.com is the same concept just different sponsor.
