Welcome to the March 6th group! Our family of 6 is counting the days. I'll be one of the pale skinned ones too (even though I live in Texas, today the high is 31!). My daughter is going to hit the tanning booth this week so she won't burn up on the cruise. Is your daughter a server on the Magic?

Has everyone started packing? I am going to hoe out the corner of my closet where I have been squirreling away all my cruise stuff this weekend.

We got the DCL DVD in the mail yesterday, and DH had it in the DVD player and dinner made when I got home last night!! I am so very happy that he is finally excited about vacation-- he normally is Eeyore on vacation.

Going shopping this weekend for some new cruisin clothes!

Thanks for the welcome! Glad we wont be the only "untanned" cruisers!!! Yes, we will be doing a back-to-back: a lot of money, but we saved up for a year! Yes, daughter is a Server on the Magic (along with her boyfriend). They will both be returning for another 6 month contract on embarkation day. (Contract number 7 for both). Look forward to meeting you all! Will probably be the only BRITS on board................ so NO TEASING us about the accents! Hehe. Get packing folks! Nat and Dave

I won't tease you about your accent if you won't tease me about my Texas drawl! I've been to London and I love to listen to an English accent. As a very little girl in Canada my best friend was from England and I had my mom's Texan accent ...we were quite the pair.

- this morning it was a cold 23 degrees F at my house in Grand Rapids, MI (BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!) and in St. Thomas WHERE WE WILL ALL BE AT IN A COUPLE WEEKS ON THE MAGIC, IT WAS A WARM 83 DEGREES !!!!!!!!) Thats a 60 degrees difference!!!!

I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally got our docs today! I was beginning to think they were not going to get here!!!
I was reading through them, and when I looked outside it was snowing! (which doesn't happen alot in East Texas!) It didn't stick, but it sure was pretty!

Hey vanwingen--it's not as cold here as it is in MI, but I agree with you that being in St. Thomas would be great! I can't wait!!Somewhere on this website is the countdown timer.

To get a countdown timer go to the Tech Board from the Main "forums" page. They have a "how to" post there.

The "chart" is a couple pages back on this post, Kiminicki made it. Hopefully she'll post an updated one soon!

As I understand it, the plan is for everyone to meet for lunch on Sunday at whatever restaurant is offering it? Say around Noon? Someone correct me on this if I misunderstood, please.

It was in the 30s here today, man, does that 83 sound great! Heck. I'd settle for 60!

Hello Everyone,

We live north of Dallas and woke up to 2 inches of snow! It continued to snow all morning long for a total of 4 inches. We dug out all the gloves and hats and went to the park to play. The kids sure enjoyed the surprise snowfall. The whole time I was wiggling my toes trying to keep them warm and thinking only three more weeks!

I'm way behind all of you in getting ready. Besides my list of what I need to do, he only thing I have done is bought two disposable water cameras!

Even though it is cold and there is snow on the ground. My DD insisted on shopping for a bikini. After that we went and got ice cream. My DH thought we were crazy but it kind of gave us warm feeling. Not long now! Vanwingen, we are downriver.
