looking for HHI owners

We really love the HH area in general and while I do wish the resort was on the beach, it really has not been a deal breaker for us. I can tell you this...we own three DVC contracts and if I died tommorrow the only one my wife would keep is HH. In fact if she could figure out a way to forge my signature I might lose my other two before I die.

Im curious where do you own besides HHI....my thoughts are...love golf, relaxation and the beach

We also own BCV and OKW. We like them all for different reasons. My personal favorite is OKW, the kids love BCV (but oddly wanted to go to OKW this last summer ).
If relaxation, golf and the beach are at the top of your list then I really think HH is right up your alley.
Incidentally, I love to golf as well (wife isn't quite as keen on it which is why I created my own little foursome , we have three small children) anyway, while I enjoy the few courses I have played at HH, I enjoy the Disney courses as much if not more.

im thinking about buying points at HHI and was wondering why you bought there....im looking at it because i love golf and relaxation...my wife loves the beach...still want to go to WDW but not every year....will travel in JUne so im guessing its tought to get a 2 BR in June there at the7 month window.....i like that i can buy about 200 points here for what i would spend on 160 or so points at SSR or BWV (the otheres that im considering)..realize the mf are higher ....looking for your thoughts on HHI

After visiting just after they opened, when we bought DVC at Disney we bought an add on contract to get the home resort booking advantage. I would like to have more points at HH, but not all my points there. We love the resort for many of the same reasons as others. We get there several times each year, even if only for a couple of nights added to a Disney trip. My youngest has literally grown up there on vacation. We really enjoy the beach, and the short drive is no issue at all for us.

I would split my points at a couple of resorts to get the best combo. Then 2 smaller contracts are probably easier to sell if necessary. Good luck and welcome home if you buy!
