Looking for girl name suggestions

When DD and I were discussing names for or then-future dog, we liked patriotic kinds of names: Liberty or Independence for a girl, Justice for a boy. We are just not fond of using "people names" for a pet, no offense. No flames; it will hurt my feelings(!?)

It turned out that we adopted an adult dog from another family, so he already had a name: Jake!! We love him anyway...

That's why our second son is not named Jake! My dh really wanted to name him Jacob and call him Jake, but the neighbors behind us had a dog named Jake. My son and the neighbor's dog have the same name? No way!

My Sis in law has a dog named Zoe..............it's really cute!

We have a golden that dd named Sunny--it fits her perfectly.

While I like the IDEA of a dog named Serendipity--I know myself and, in no time, I'd have it shortened to "Dipity." Or even Dipity-Do-Dah. :rotfl2:

How 'bout Pluto...or Princess? This is the DIS boards after all!!!!!!! ;)

I like 2 syllable names for dogs...it just flows well when you are calling them.

Other Disney possibilities are Daisy, Minnie, Duchess, Lilo, Lady...

I have a chocolate lab named Maggie Mae or just Maggie for short. I like Zoe too. Friends so mine had a golden named Cinnamon I really like that too. Good luck!

Had a customer call me today, her name was Sarafina Ariel. I thought that was pretty :)
