Looking for driving tips with kids

I'm looking for tips to make our looooong drive better with our two kids. We're going to make our first 18 hour drive. Oh, boy!! We have two girls (they'll be 11 and 7). We'll time it so that a chunk of it will fall in night while they're sleeping. I anticipate we'll definitely play some Disney movies and color as well. Would love to hear how others help make the time pass smoothly for their kids.

I checked out tons of Disney themed books and movies from the library.
Made cheap magnetic games and puzzles from the dollar store and a cookie sheet with pillow attached at the bottom as a play tray
flash cards
dry erase games(travel bingo, hangman, mad libs)
I spy kits
Ipods, ds games

We left at 7pm and everyone was asleep by 10. We drove straight through but were going to Clearwater first. We got there at 3pm Fl. time. Every was great and had lots to do in the car. We also had lots of snacks to munch on.
