We live in Saskatchewan and are planning a family trip to North Dakota with stops to include Minot and Bismarck. I wanted to be able to do some bargain shopping for food and other household goods while there. We will be there for a Saturday, Sunday and Monday. What stores are must for a good deal? How do I find out what the weekly sales are? What websites do you go on for printable coupons? What do you find to be a good deal? What do we need to watch for when taking food across the border? We will not be buying fresh produce or meat. Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Am I too late? Did you go?
Stores that are musts (if they are in North Dakoda - we live in AB and go to montana) are Target and shopko - for everything! Ross - dress for less has designer clothes for great prices - like a Winners but a million times better! Usually great deals at Herbergers and JC Penny. You can view most stores ads on line on their own websites. Clothes are generally less expensive for much better quality. Electronics generally not a great deal. Appliances though often are a great deal. Famouse footwear is a great place to shoe shop - I can get my teens 3-4 pairs of designer runners for the price of one pair here. Have fun!! I LOVE shopping in the USA!
