Ok, I have something specific in mind here, but I don't know where to find it! Maybe you all can help.
I want to find a table lamp for my son's room that has little designs/pictures that rotate and PROJECT onto the wall as it spins. I've seen the lamps that are out there that are heat activated... the heat from the bulb rises through the fan disc which is at the top of the lamp, causing it to rotate. The thing is, the ones I see merely project the images onto the four panels that form the sides of the lamp, not necessarily onto the walls of the room.
If you have seen the new movie "When a Stranger Calls", the kids have the kind of light I want to get in their bedroom. I remember there were images of many sailboats (or something like that) that just were spinning all around the room and it was so cool! I am only assuming it was the heat-activated kind of lamp I described above because I can't remember what the actual lamps themselves looked like in the movie; perhaps it was a different style lamp altogether.
Anyway, does anyone know where I can find one that has the feature of projecting images onto the walls? Or at least know if that type of lamp has a name so I can research it?
