We had 70s here on Friday; it's been back down to the 50s since. Just yuck.

The ex's wifey was not feeling so well in Disney (I m probably going to hell for that!) I will see her, in person for the VERY first time, the weekend of May 1st at Lauren's musical. It should be interesting. I have no intention of going near her - or my ex's family, for that matter. His mother was always so nasty to me while we were married - I think she was jealous of any girl that went out with her sons. And my ex completely ignored my parents when he saw them in NJ at a restaurant not too long ago - so they want nothing to do with him. I'm hoping it's just crowded enough that we can all easily avoid each other; if not, I guess I'll have to be the bigger person and tell everybody to just suck it up for Lauren's sake.

As for widgets -- I downloaded one from Disney last year; next day, my computer crashed. Just saying.

Hey gals. Sorry for neglecting you - been busy.

1. Nicolas lost his first tooth. I think of all things, that has been really hard for me to admit he is growing up.

2. Getting ready for the birthday party this weekend.

3. Packing - which is going no-where.

4. Nicolas' bff's mom is having surgery, so I'm trying to help out with her DS. I'm batty.

5. My house is TRASHED.

6. The kids' social calendars have me running non-stop. What is up with that?

Off to pitch another load in the wash, make dinner, run to get Nicolas, pay bills, go to the friends house, get groceries... and that is my list until 4 pm.

Cammie, things were similar for me. My dad always showed his rear at events where both had to come. At my undergrad graduation, BSM got up and stormed out, dad followed - all because my mom & her husband were there. Didn't they THINK that would happen? I say be the bigger person - for Lauren. She'll appreciate it more than you know. As for the Disney & sickness of Ex's wifey. What goes around, comes around baby!

Trust me, it's not a skimpy bikini. It hides my stretch marks..... I actually bought the bottoms, bikini top, AND tankini top - all match, and I can wear the tankini top now, and then hopefully add the bikini top later...... When I came home from the store, I showed Jeff and Ally and Ally said, "you're going to WEAR that?" She will be totally honest with me though - the first time I put it on,she'll let me know if I'm allowed to wear it in public.

I told Jeff I may need to wear it to Vilano Beach though just so I can get some sun on my tummy. Otherwise, the first time I wear it I will have a white stomach and everything else will be tanned!!! And y'all remember my post about Vilano Beach??? Even 20 lbs overweight, I'll probably still be the most "hardbodied" one there! Trust me, that says a lot for the beachgoers, cause there ain't nothing hard about this body AT ALL!

Oh Lorrie - that's just awful! I couldn't imagine doing something like that to Lauren. I admit, I'm a little nervous but then, when I think about it - what the heck do I have to be nervous about? I am her mom AND I'm not the one who slept with a married man!

you will be the better person. Just smile and wave. My god parents did the same thing durning my confirmation. Just as we were going up to be confirmed they started fighting loudly in the CHURCH!! and stormed off. My parents were there but those to crazies weren't.

I just thought of Lorrie/ I'm shopping in the basement. My favorite place of course. I cleaned out our storage place. Way too packed. I have a fear of tornados. It is our safe place and we would not have been able to fit if had to so now we can. With the warm weather coming so fast that's when we get the really nasty storms.

BTW you are nuts for having that busy of a schedule. J/K you are normal. I loaded up with things to do before we left. I felt stressed so I kept taking more on. Silly logic.

Less than 2 weeks for Kara and Lorrie and three for Cammie. Then Debbie--oh wait Pam is there now? and then JIllian again. I think Tessa, Erin and I are the only ones without a trip this year. Oh well, I expect lots of photos.

Off to go have Katie try on the "new" clothes. Then to the nail salon. I broke off one of my tips. I have them on for 2 months and haven't bit my nails once. I'm scared to take them off. I'm afraid I will go back to bitting them. there isn't a patch for this stupid bad habbit.

Ah, so much crap has happened over the years - but that hurt my feelings so bad - watching him leave before I walked. My mom has done a lot of crazy stuff, but I was always so thankful that she put all that aside and acted nice that day.

I'm just driving myself bonkers today.

I have serious mom guilt.

Today was indoor beach party day. It is cold here - 50's. They were going to play outside. Nicolas didn't want to wear his swimsuit, and truth be told I didn't think that was such a bad thing. I sent him in jeans and a beach themed T. Well all the other kids are in swimsuits. With beach towels (yeah, I forgot that) and sunglasses (forgot that too). So he seemed indifferent. I asked was he sure he didn't want his swimsuit and he said yes. I just feel like a crap mom knowing my kid is the only one there in jeans.

I have been cheated on by 4 different people. I have no idea what makes them stray but nonetheless I'm a loyal person and cheating is what I WON'T tolerate. With that said cheating is also what I feel to hurt the most and well I'm now with someone who has been cheated on and agrees so I don't have any trust issues with them but it doesn't change the fact that I constantly worry about being hurt in that same manor.

Well, Jim left this morning for Idaho - 8 hrs away. He'll be working there until the end of June. He was really having a hard time leaving Myles and Londynn here, cuz he will be back just in time to move them, and we just got back yesterday from our trip. He is planning to come home for Memorial Day weekend. That should help a little.

I am so tired - our bed was horrible - had a budget hotel and then too lazy to move when we didn't like it. I couldn't keep my eyes open this afternoon, so I'm getting ready to take a nap and then I have to go out and get ink for my printer and send out some invitations. I think I need a bottle of wine, too.

Oh, Kara - if you are still thinking Cozumel, here is a link to the Palace Resorts. The Arbonne trip is at the Moon Palace in Cancun - the gals who went there LOVED it! They could go to any of the other Palace resorts, and they were eating dinner on the rooftop of one at sunset - they were told that Angelina Jolie just left. The kicker - its very affordable!

Just stay at the resort. The drug lords are warring with each other, and sometimes make examples of the tourists - Jim said that on base they were asked not to go to Mexico on vacation.

Okay, not asleep yet LOL! Jim just called and said he's there safely. His condo is not luxury or anything, but clean and he has 2 br, 2 baths, a LR, kitchenette and laundry. When he goes back in Sept, I'm going with him - I'll use the 2nd BR for an office and work from there. I'm going to get busy and meet some new people in Boise.

Kara, about the guns- although we have a bunch - IN A SAFE - people hunt here - I HATE THEM! When I was 3, my mom blew a hole through the floor while I was sitting on the bed with her - she thought there was an intruder trying to get in. My dad was overseas or something. I am now afraid of guns, but we did get our boys hunter's safety courses, and they hunt some - that way I know they at least know how to be safe with them.

My friend did exactly what you're talking about one night. She heard someone come in when her DH was on nights. She got the loaded pistol out from under the bed and almost shot her DH who had come home early for some reason
