They are outside cutting my grass. I'm medically ordered not to be out on those days and I just promised my kids after the nap time, we were going outside to play.

Well - I'm not going to be a liar, so I guess I'm going to be stuffy tonight.

Not too much at all - seriously! I sware over 75% has washed out already. I do a semi-perm color - so it lightens up as I go. Roots don't look so bad that way.

I think I'm giving in and going blond again. I use to do caramel highlights all the time. I hate roots, but nothing is quite covering the gray right.

I've been watching Jon & Kate and the early years her hair is darker and it looks SOOO much better with blond. That is what everyone keeps telling me too - so maybe I should just give in.

Gonna paint the DR today and then the entire downstairs will be painted! All that is left is the bonus room upstairs, and Ally's "new" bedroom and her bathroom. This house is FINALLY getting to where I want it! But we have so much furniture to move now. We have to take our furniture up to the Disney room - that is Ally's new room cause it's bigger. Then all that furniture is going byebye. Old nasty sectional up there. So it has to come downstairs and get to the curb by Friday for garbage. Then I need to rearrange some other stuff. And this stuff is HEAVY!

Kara, there you are painting again! You haven't missed a whole lot, really. I didn't have alot of planning to talk about, so I started a trivia contest. It's been fun! I'm glad you found it. I guess I mentioned it once here, and I have the link, but I didn't want to beg you to read!

I'm here. I had an incredibly BAD day yesterday. Let's just say - when it rains, it pours. Things are all screwed up with Amanda's medical supplies and now her nursing. Looks like I may have to drive her to school some days (which is about an hour commute) and don't think she can even go on Thurs. Just pisses me off!

On top of that, I came home from NJ in a somewhat bad mood. Won't go into the details right now, but in a nutshell: I have one brother I don't talk to; I've tried to put the past behind us and suggest moving forward but he still is holding a grudge about things. Bottom line - not only did he ignore my existance this weekend, but he also ignored Lauren. WHAT A *******! I'm telling ya - you don't even want to know the things I'm thinking about him right now.

I have to head out to the gym now to work off some frustration. I'm just in a really bad mood right now.

Oh, sorry you're having a hard time. What is going on with Amanda's stuff? I'm sorry about your DB. I'm worried that Jim is going to do that with Ryan - I'm not going to let it happen!

Cammie - that so stinks. I have a similar step brother situation, so I can relate totally. It is funny to me how much we can shrug off when it is just us affected, but when it gets to the kids - just ticks me off so bad.

I hope that today gets better for you - sounds like you have had more than your share of issues going on!

Kara & Tammie - Remember, I have that friend that I need to hook up with BSIL too. All I can say at this point is WHATEVER.

Kara - painting again? Oh, and wait until she figures out a lighter + can of hairspray = blowtorch. Did I mention I hate spiders before? HATE them, and we had these jumping ones that got in our house. My dad was never home and I didn't want them to jump at me... so BLOWTORCH. What the heck was I thinking? but it worked.

Debbie - well, sounds like you have the best trip for you guys booked, so that is exciting! Now comes the packing list phase!

Okay, so I'm taking matters into my own hands for our 10th next year. Carlos will NEVER EVER plan something for me, so screw it, I'm doing it myself. Guess where I'm thinking of?

I also want to do Discovery Cove, but online it appears to be sold out already. Oh well, I can save that for his 40th - guess that means more time in Disney.

Decisions, decisions. I'm thinking either BW or BC - or SS near DTD for that one - either will be soooooo fun. LOVE this. That handy dandy SWA credit can go towards it. We'll only be doing 2 nights, so we can "splurge" a bit on the room I guess.

I started packing on Sunday - I guess I'll have to finish tomorrow!

Discovery Cove - too bad it's sold out. My pick for romantic would probably be GF or Poly. SSR is nice because its close to DTD and so many good restaurants. I'll let you know when we get back. We got a really good rate on a King suite off site but close to DTD too, so I'll let you know when I get back!

I'm right there with you. Mine had 7, yes 7 tubes of lipgloss in her desk that she puts on all day during school. Yup mom of the year

You never know when you will need to apply more lip gloss!

Oh that stinks! It's hard to wait for Spring and then you can't go out! It is still only 40 here, although at least the sun is shining.

I need to make some phone calls and I'm doing a makeover at 3, then a meeting prep at 4, meeting at 6:30. Maybe I'll pack when I get home, but I also have to get our taxes ready to mail, as well as my parents I'm going to be on VACATION in 2 DAYS!!!

I have the same problem with my gray hair, which is why I started the semi perm color myself. It is a lot cheaper to spend $8/month than $150 ever other month!!!! And my gray was showing up a lot quicker with the blonde highlights. But I sooooo miss my blonde! I think I'll end up going back that way though. I just look so washed out as a brunette.

Did y'all hear about Natasha Richardson? Liam Neeson's wife? Skiing in Canada and took a fall - nothing serious apparently. She was helped down the mountain (on the beginners trail) and then later complained of a headache. Long story short, she has been declared brain dead and after they fly her back to NY they are going to remove her from life support. 46 years old. So sad.....

Here's my dilema...we have EVERYTHING for the trip taken care of except the "going" airfare. The coming home was so cheap we jumped on it but I can't find a cheap "going" fare. I hope we didn't make a bone head move! The coming home fare was 79.00!

THANK Goodness...and I guess I am bragging a little...I don't have to color my hair yet. My Mom always told me my whole life "don't do anything to your hair (like dying) until you have to" and I am so glad I don't "have to" yet.

EEP! EEP! EEP! I'm so excited about something I'm going to burst!

I may be getting ahead of myself but I just have to tell someone about what may be happening.............................

I've re-connected with a guy from college on Facebook (and before you all get excited, this story has NO romantic implications whatsoever!) Long story short - he was a senior when I was a freshman; he dated my roommate; she dumped him but he and I have stayed friends. We only talk about once or twice a year but since FB we've been talking more regularly. Anyway, he's looking at my photos from WDW and sees Lauren posing in front of the Jonas Brothers billboard and comments that his neighbor is one of their bodyguards!

WHAT?!

We immediately start having a chat about it - not only is his neighbor a bodyguard - he's one of the MAIN bodyguards (along with Big Rob) and he tells me he could try to set up a meet and greet with the Jonas Brothers the next time they're in town!

Well wouldn't you know - JB is going on tour this summer and they're coming to Boston on July 17th (which happens to be one day before my birthday). Lauren paid for membership in their fanclub with her own money just so she could get access to the presale of concert tix - she's told me she really wants to try to get floor seats. The tix go on sale Monday; my friend said as long as I get the concert tix, he could try to set up the meet and greet! LAUREN WOULD JUST DIE!!!! Heck - I'm going to DIE! We'll all be dying! My friend said his daughter met them last summer and she was crying she was so happy. He said they were the nicest guys and gave her hugs! OMG - can you imagine? I think I'd cry watching Lauren.

Nothing is definite but I just had to share with somebody! I don't want to say anything to Lauren until I know it will be happening!

Aaaaah - my week just got a little better!

Now, I'm off soon to get Amanda because the substitute nursing got screwed up for the afternoon pickup. I'll fill you guys in later about what a mess everything has been.

Hey girls it has been a very crazy week. We get Minnie on Sat. we were suppose to pick her up today, but Luca and I are both running fevers and cranky. We are going to make it out of the house today it is 65 degree here. Luca has an appointment at 2 for his ears and then I am going to insist we go take a walk.

Cammie- Awsome on the JB meet up. Did you see the previews for Jon and Kate? Are they breaking up?

Kara- those pics were amazing we got to the the shuttle last night after our Corned beef dinner it looked like a little shooting star. So Cool

We have decided to buy a townhouse so if we don't love living there we can use it as a second house.
