Lorrie! Good points for Debbie. My only problem with the values is that the double beds are just too small for us to be comfortable in, unless we sleep in separate beds, which isn't all bad. ;) But with one small child with you, it wouldn't be bad at all! I know alot of people really love POP!

I checked in to SSR a couple of days ago! My thinking was that I may secure our room request by doing that, since we won't be there until about 8:30pm. I've read that like Kara said, the line for online check-in was pretty long, but it took each person only about 1 min. to grab their keys and go.:thumbsup2 It probably isn't that big a deal, and I'll bet sweet talkin' the CM probably helps with upgrades.

Kara, I commented on your TR, but I love those pic! It is wierd to think that there are people in that shuttle - Still Amazing after 27 years!

Unfortunately for us, there is no room to upgrade. I mean, we had to book waterview because that was all that was left there - but I'm totally requesting the new QUEEN bed! That is want - especially after seeing Kara's pics.

Kara - I love the takeoff, but I can't enjoy it LIVE anymore for being a nervous wreck. I was watching Challenger take off LIVE on TV as a kid - 6th grade to date me - and was just so sick that day. I can still remember it. :sad2:

Tammie - 5 more days! :woohoo:

I'm debating if we should eat lunch at the airport before ME or wait until we get to CSR. I wonder if they take you there directly. I think we will have to eat there unless we somehow do a late breakfast - and then we have a 6 pm BSIL ressie to keep at :lmao:

I picked up a few trip related needs at Target today - I think I'm really good on all things so far. I'm starting to get excited now - nothing like a zero balance to do that to you! :woohoo:

PS - Carlos was quick to point out yesterday we did one counter service and two table services just fine. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Whatever. I'm saving receipts and throwing it in his face if we don't!

PSS - Since Tammie is doing trivia on her PTR, I'll do some here.

Question: Guess which person has Nicolas not wanting to go to WDW because he won't have a party with people, presents and balloons on his birthday?

(not to worry, I straightened it all out and he is fine, but the NERVE!) I told him he gets that birthday and then when we are home I'll make him a cake for friends and family that we can do after his birthday and that will be okay with everyone - so now he is excited about two parties. :rotfl: )

Seriously Lorrie I think you need to take your mother to Disney - take her to AK and "accidentally" knock her off the vehicle on KS right by the lions! I would be soooooo pissed!

I remember Challenger, too. I was a sophomore in college and I was skipping class that day (probably hungover but I can't remember enough of college to know for sure! :rotfl2: ) and my roommate and I watched it live. I remember watching the Price is Right and they interrupted for a special report and I thought "oh, oh" but it was just to show the lift off. Then it really DID turn into an oh oh.

Then when the other shuttle expoled on re-entry a few years back, I was listening to that live on the radio and heard it live. That was so freaky too.

But to see it LIVE, not just on TV, I could go on and on. We told Ally how lucky she is to see that. I go a lump in my throat just seeing it and consider myself very fortunate.

DING DING DING - we have a winner!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

To quote someone famous... "I think there is a sensitivity chip missing".

:rolleyes1

She hinted around they didn't have the money today - to go to WDW. I guess not since I just talked to DSF and he told me she was going to Vegas solo.

Whatever, seriously - whatever. It just gets to a point that is all I can say.

Kara..thanks for sharing the pix. Super cool!!!!
Debbie-what is your date again?

June 10th - 17th Come ...come to the dark side!

Lorrie - you make great points - anyplace at WDW is better than NO place at WDW, right? ?

I have ALWAYS said this!!!!

Oh sure make me feel guilty now! We booked through AAvacations so there is NO changing it now! We bought a package from them. Oh well...I am stuck at the poly!:rotfl2:

The thing is my Mom is the worst with the buses!!! Without Mark & my Dad there to help her/us would have been even worse! Plus...we are planning on chilling out at the resort some since we have the two little ones...probably not too much marathoning it there. It is TOO much money BUT it will be perfect! I can feel it in my bones that we planned it perfectly for being there without the Daddy and Grandpa. Plus, being on the monorail we can split up too. If my Mom wants to just hang out with Elizabeth they can or even take Matthew back to the room by herself if he fell asleep or something. I am so excited I can't stand it.

Next step...trying to make some mula!

Kara, I remember Challenger too. I was breast-feeding my youngest - my oldest was still sleeping - I was so shocked, I just kept sitting and watching, hoping it was a mistake, then feeling so sad for Christa's students and chidren.:sad2:

Lorrie, I can't she's doing that. I think you should bring her to WDW - introduce her to Kara's BSIL, and let the two of them hang out with the other villains while you two go have fun:thumbsup2

Debbie, Oh darn, you're stuck at the Poly!:lmao: I'm so excited for you!

Lorrie - Tammie has a great idea! BSIL and your mother!!!!!! :rotfl2:

Tammie - I've got so many pages to read on your PTR - seriously, how did I miss it????

Gonna paint the DR today and then the entire downstairs will be painted! All that is left is the bonus room upstairs, and Ally's "new" bedroom and her bathroom. This house is FINALLY getting to where I want it! But we have so much furniture to move now. We have to take our furniture up to the Disney room - that is Ally's new room cause it's bigger. Then all that furniture is going byebye. Old nasty sectional up there. So it has to come downstairs and get to the curb by Friday for garbage. Then I need to rearrange some other stuff. And this stuff is HEAVY!

Egads!!! Ally just asked if she could put a little hairspraty on so I said sure. She just came out and let me just say if there was an open flame anywhere near, she'd have gone "poof!" It is hard as a rock!!! :rotfl2: So I just sent her to brush through it...... there goes my mother of the year award.... again! Letting my child use hairspray without supervision!

Cammie - where are you????

I'm here. I had an incredibly BAD day yesterday. Let's just say - when it rains, it pours. Things are all screwed up with Amanda's medical supplies and now her nursing. Looks like I may have to drive her to school some days (which is about an hour commute) and don't think she can even go on Thurs. Just pisses me off!

On top of that, I came home from NJ in a somewhat bad mood. Won't go into the details right now, but in a nutshell: I have one brother I don't talk to; I've tried to put the past behind us and suggest moving forward but he still is holding a grudge about things. Bottom line - not only did he ignore my existance this weekend, but he also ignored Lauren. WHAT A *******! I'm telling ya - you don't even want to know the things I'm thinking about him right now.

I have to head out to the gym now to work off some frustration. I'm just in a really bad mood right now.

Cammie - that so stinks. I have a similar step brother situation, so I can relate totally. It is funny to me how much we can shrug off when it is just us affected, but when it gets to the kids - just ticks me off so bad. :headache:

I hope that today gets better for you - sounds like you have had more than your share of issues going on!

Kara & Tammie - Remember, I have that friend that I need to hook up with BSIL too. :rolleyes1 All I can say at this point is WHATEVER. :sad2:

Kara - painting again? Oh, and wait until she figures out a lighter + can of hairspray = blowtorch. :lmao: Did I mention I hate spiders before? HATE them, and we had these jumping ones that got in our house. My dad was never home and I didn't want them to jump at me... so BLOWTORCH. :lmao: :rotfl2: What the heck was I thinking? but it worked. :rolleyes1

Debbie - well, sounds like you have the best trip for you guys booked, so that is exciting! Now comes the packing list phase! :scared1:

Laura - twist, twist, twist. :lmao:

Tammie - shouldn't you be packing?

Jillian - hope you are feeling better. :flower3:

Okay, so I'm taking matters into my own hands for our 10th next year. Carlos will NEVER EVER plan something for me, so screw it, I'm doing it myself. Guess where I'm thinking of? :rolleyes1

I also want to do Discovery Cove, but online it appears to be sold out already. :headache: Oh well, I can save that for his 40th - guess that means more time in Disney. :woohoo:

Decisions, decisions. I'm thinking either BW or BC - or SS near DTD for that one - either will be soooooo fun. :woohoo: LOVE this. That handy dandy SWA credit can go towards it. We'll only be doing 2 nights, so we can "splurge" a bit on the room I guess. :woohoo: :dance3:

Lorrie - 2 nights will be a perfect splurge. That is how Jeff and I do it too.

We usually split the years we plan our anniversary. Let's see, one year I did Savannah, another year I did Charleston, SC. He did a Cadillac, dinner, and Embassy Suites in town the first year we had Ally cause he knew I wouldn't leave town..... Then last year I did Disney. What else have we done???? Must have been really exciteing! :rotfl2: I'm pretty sure this year he wants to do a 3 or 4 night cruise out of Jax. It's Carnival and since we've never cruised before, I'm sure it will be fine. And they are DIRT cheap out of Jacksonville! Like $300pp for 4 nights!!!!

Well - we honeymooned on the Mayan Riveria. Each year I leave it up to him to plan our "romantic celebration.". Years 1-8 anniversaries he's taken me out to eat. I just figure it is my turn to plan. After all, he's done it the past 8 years.... I should just help him out. RIGHT?:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I'm thinking 1 BC initially, but I know so little about DTD - so that might make SSR a good choice. THOUGHTS? Which is more fun DTD or EPCOT with no kids?

Epcot with no kids for sure!!!! Just wander through the WS and grab drinks here... and there.... and back here again.... oh, and over there.... :lmao: I'd look at BW or YC over BC. BC has a lot of kids as compared to the other two I think. BW and YC just seem more adult than BC in the theming which seems to cause families to head to BC if given the choice. And they are all right there together.....

OH - good tips - so BW is the one that Cammie likes - right?

I think YC would be least liked by Carlos - since he wants the less formal. I guess wearing suits everyday makes him want to be super casual on weekends. I have NO IDEA why he has such a fuss about it. Know what his idea of super casual is? A polo and dress shorts - so what is the big deal? :confused3

Anyway - I think that my gut is Epcot would be more fun. We saw "O" in vegas and loved it, so I'm thinking the Cirque show, dinner at either California Grill or Le Cellier.... Oh, the wheels are turning, I tell ya! :cheer2:

I'm right there with you. Mine had 7, yes 7 tubes of lipgloss in her desk that she puts on all day during school. Yup mom of the year

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Hey, a girl needs a lot of lipgloss - it's tough to be beautiful! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Lorrie - Jeff is the same way - shorts and a golf shirt when we go out. That's usually what he wears at Disney too - he said he doesn't feel right in a t-shirt, although he did break tradition this past trip! :thumbsup2

Yes, BW is Cammie's resort. Jeff and I stayed in the inn for our honeymoon and it's just as "formal" as YC. But yet it's not formal at all, kwim? It's just that BC is known for the best pool in Disney (and YC shares that pool), and the theming is bright colors, very beachy. None of the resorts are that formal, except for GF in my opinion. But BW and YC just have more of an adult "flavor" to them. Ask Cammie her opinion. But SSR might be a good call too. It's away from the hustle and bustle, yet a quick walk to DTD - Tammie?

Well - my two year old has her own stash of lipgloss in my makeup drawer. Her own nail polish. Her own "pretend" blush/eyeshaddow in there...:rolleyes1 So I beat you all! :lmao:

YC - just looked a little more.... for lack of a better word.... stuffy? :confused3 I didn't look at it but breifly, so call me out on it if I'm wrong.

I'll probably have a good feel for EPCOT area when we leave, but with the kids I doubt I'll still know that much about DTD. I was just thinking maybe a comedy club or something. We've never done that. It is such a shame. By the time we had money to do anything, here were the kiddos. :confused3 So, there is just a lot of things we've never done.

It is just beautiful here today. I told the kids if they took a nap we'd spend the afternoon outside. I'm back on the diet bandwagon. Funny - nothing motivates me like not wanting to look like a blimp in my picture with SKINNY KARA! :rotfl2: Unfortunatly for me when I screwed up the dose of the predasone (remember, I took 3 pills a day instead of 2/day for a week, then 1 a day for a week) I did fine that week but the next it was like each day I woke up 1-2 lbs heavier. I did gain 10 lbs. And it didn't just go away either.

Oh well - at least my sinus cavity feels better I guess....:rolleyes1

How 'bout some party pictures? Here is little Miss Mia - who picked her own clothes and own NON MATCHING hairbows out for her party... :rolleyes1

And here is me - with the red hair that is going blond before I meet Kara. :rolleyes1 - and my best friend. That is a pretty bad hair day for me btw. :lmao:

Man does red dye fade fast! It is still the bright raspberry underneath, but the top has mellowed out a lot.
