Renee- we are using the stuff for yeast and then a layer of aquaphor over it. Suggestion of a Doc that works with Mike. This is his FIRST rash he is not usually that sensitive so I am not sure what is doing this to him. It really hurts him the poor thing. I posted a thread and got a TON of responses so I am thankful for that.
As for the hands/Pants issue when I worked in a daycare they use to tell the boys that there hoo hoo would fall off Nice huh??? But it worked I always thought this would cause damage, but whatever. I know the doctor said it is normal I would just talk to him about it and tell him it is not something he should do with others around?

Kara- Post a picture of those drapes I can't wait to see. Also I have a very pretty mango sunrise color in our guest room before Luca was born. It was here when we moved in a color I never thought I would pick out but it was beautiful. It is by Valspar and it is called Flaming Desire you can go to there site and it is a signiture color by earth elements it is really nice.

Tammie- Vacation is sneaking up on us I feel under prepared and I will be pulling the suitcases down next week. It takes me time and that way I can visualize how much room I have and what I need to get. I know it is crazy but it's what I have to do and since it is all summer stuff I can just zip it up and grab it when it is time to go!

glad to hear the yeast stuff is working. I was shocked that is what it was on my girls.

I've made a HUGE mistake. Well not a mistake but I am paying for it. We are potty training katie and she needed an incentive to get it done. Beth opens her mouth and says I got to go to WDW when I was potty trained. I agreed and explained how it works. Now all she wants to do is see mickey mouse and talk about the air plane. Any progress on the potty- no way. But she loves her mickey and can't wait to see him. I just showed her a couple of videos and she is thinking she is going next week. I asked if she wants to go potty NO! just mickey. Gotta love kids

Ok, here I am being the crappy parent again - first I let my daughter get her ears pierced when she was 7 and now I'm afraid to admit this but.............

Drake and Josh has become the new obsession in our house (not before the Jonas Brothers, of course)! Lauren has such a crush on Drake also. She was just about in her glory when, over the holidays, Nick. ran a "12 DAys of Drake & Josh" marathon. And, seriously, the show cracks me up and I don't mind it but, then again, Lauren is just weeks away from 13 so it may be more age-appropriate for her. I prefer she watch that than something like "Gossip Girl" which, believe it or not, ALOT of her classmates watch!

Well because of this rash we have Luca in underwear we put him on the potty he gets up pulls up his pants and goes Potty it is driving me nuts I wasnt going to start but by suggestion of everyone I am attempting it. I dont know how to explain to a 21 month old he needs to go in the potty I have tried videos daddy showed him etc No clue?

Maybe you could make a potty chart and put stickers until Disney World this allows you to control the amount of time and she can visualize what she needs before she goes.

Ok, here I am being the crappy parent again - !
:rolleyes2 you are so not a crappy parent! stop that! You are right, at 13 there is so much more they could be watching! :sad2:

You also don't want them to be 32 - never have Beauty & the Beast, POTC,.... :rolleyes1 - then again, I don't know anyone like that :rotfl2:

there is a potty chart on the fridge. The trouble is we have agreed that the trip is at least 2 years off. Its the same thing that happened with beth. Oh well it is too cute listening to her say mickey mouse.

I am the mean mom who won't let my kid watch Hannah Montana anymore. So don't feel bad. I think that show is completely age appropriate. :)

I don't know what to say about the potty training. We started Nicolas at 2 1/2 and stopped/started off and on to no luck. Ped suggested most boys "get it" around 3 1/2 and that until then I'd be more potty training myself ("Honey, do you need to potty") so I opted to let it go. At exactly 3 1/2, he wanted to use the potty and was done in one day.

SO with Mia, I don't know. She will tell you as soon as she has gone and ask to be changed, so I THINK she is ready, but she won't go on the potty. They are out and she sits on them before bath time and during the day (with clothes/diaper on) so I don't know.

With Katie - I don't know if she will get all the sticker stuff yet? It is hard for me to visualize a girl at that age. A boy - no way. :lmao: Mia seems to pick up things quicker though. My thought is the reward needs to be more immediate - because isn't your trip going to be 2011? What about some toy or something that you put over the fridge. My friend did this with her daughter. Like 5 stickers for a cookie - and then a huge number - like 20 potties and she got one of the Disney Dolls that were on sale for 2/$10. :confused3 I don't know Laura. I think of potty training and I just cringe. I hate that whole thing.

See this? :badpc: It isn't a pc... know what it is? It is that stupid toy!

I SO regret buying that for him. It drives me nuts!

Cammie - I totally think DRake and Josh is fine for Lauren's age.

Jillian - I love the idea of that mango color! I was thinking of a burnt orange color for the living/dining room to get rid of this ugly peach! But first the drapes. I'm about an hour from finishing up the second panel, then I need to make tiebacks. I'll be soooo glad when this is done!

I hope Luca's rash clears up soon - I hated it when Ally got a rash - I just felt so bad for her!

Although, today I would GIVE her a rash if I could! Got in trouble again at school for talking! So no more cheerleading. Hey, I warned her! This time I'm following through! I'm just pissed it cost me $100 for the season....

ouch!!! That hurts the worst. those are the toughest punishments to dole out. Wish I had better advice. Dare I ask what happened today?

Renee- I understand your pain with those toys.

I think my girls are going to kill each other and beth just got home f rom school. I'd better run

It's just talking. So it's not like she's being bad, but she won't shut up! She has had her desk moved away from her friend, so now she stands up and yells across the room to her. :confused3 Her teacher is great and emails me about this because it's driving her crazy, too. Her words: "Ally just talks constantly!"

She's crying now. It's killing me, but if she gets her act together, she can try again in the fall.

Oh my i've been away toooo long to go back hahaha i will though i promise

Cammie .. Chloe watches Drake and Josh and loves it, guess am with you hahahah although i don't :rotfl: some of those shows just wind me up, i think the 2 that send me round the bend THE MOST are Raven and Suite life of Zak and Cody awful awful awful they make me want to tear out my hair :rotfl2:

Oh man what a long week this week .. I feel like i am constantly waiting for friday at the moment, i hate this time of year, the weather sux, it's dark too early etc etc i'm just waiting for the summer to arrive and of course it won't, because i live in England :rotfl: the only good thing in this house at this time of year is my baby's b'day, which is on Monday, she is very excited and i am scared she hits 10 this year double figures yikes :crazy2: time goes just too too fast

Those pictures of CJ are so cute! Tell me, does she ever not have a smile? Seriously, I'm thinking she is about one of the happiest kids I've ever seen! :) They do grow up too fast. I can't believe Nicolas is ready to start school this year. :sad2:

Oh Erin - Chloe still has the same adorable face!

As for Disney shows, Suite Life & Raven are annoying. I will admit, if there's nothing on, I will watch Hannah Montana. Sorry, but the brother Jackson just cracks me up!

Awww thankyou ... Actually she is generally a happy little thing apart from today when she came out of school sobbing her little heart out, so very horrid when they are upset, it scares me so much that in a year and a bit she will be off to high school they start at 11 here :crazy2:
Oh they do, treasure this year with Nicolas for sure :flower3:

Thankyou, she has a cheeky face, it just amazes me how much she's grown up you know scary stuff!!

Hahhahaa i can cope with Hannah Montana yes ... we don't actually have cable so we don't get the disney channel so all her watching of that is done at my best friends house or my mum's :rotfl2:

Aren't you guys chatty!

Erin...your pix are so cute I want to cry.

Kara...you aren't going to be able to stick to that! How is she going to not be able to go back to cheerleading! You paid and it is on going. Isn't there something else you can use as a punishment?

I actually potty trained Elizabeth when she was under 2 years because of that diaper rash! It burned so bad when she peed that it was better to put her on the potty. Luca seems pretty young though since he's a boy. Seems like it would be challenging.

As for the TV shows...Elizabeth would watch all of those. The more teen oriented they are the more she loves them. I am always playing a balancing act trying to decide if I should turn it off or not. We don't do Nik so I only have to worry about the Disney ones. I hate Sponge Bob. He just annoys the crap out of me! My new favorite is Wizards of Waverly. YES, we watch too much TV in my house. When I think it's inappropriate (if I don't turn it off fast enough) I try and use it as a lesson....

I long for WDW...seriously! I just am besides myself there isn't even a trip in the works...MONEY.....MONEY.....MONEY and the stupid media freaking me out all the time! I am sick of that and winter and everyone being sick.....I am just at that point of the year. I HATE January and February! See why I don't post here lately. It's because I have nothing postive to say. I am just a big CRAB!

Guilty pleasure - Zack and Cody - I like it! I think they're adorable and there are usually some lessons in there, too.

Drapes are 100% done! :cool1: I'll post pics when it lightens up later - it's raining right now so very dismal.

Erin - Chloe does look the same! So cute! And I agree, always looks happy!

As for cheerleading, Jeff thought we were just grounding her from practice and the game THIS week. But I'm not going to tell her any different until next week right before practice. Little brat. Just won't be quiet in school!

What a dreary day today. And I'm really bummed over the whole Poly thing. I REALLY want to stay here for some reason. But it would literally double the price of our resort. I think I'll call every week and see if I can get a better deal. When we honeymooned at Dinsey in 1998, we called and asked for specials and they were running a deal at Boardwalk which is why we stayed there that time. So maybe I can get lucky.

Hi guys!

Really bad here today - sheet of ice everywhere! My whole driveway, walkway and ramp is a skating rink. The van driver and I literally had to carry Amanda, in her chair, out to the van. I don't know what I was thinking. Hopefully, it will warm up slightly and melt.

Cammie - the snow never bothered me, but the ice sure did! That's what we used to get in SC - big ice storms that would knock out power and make the roads impassable. And like Renee in TN, SC would shut down schools with just the forecast of a little bit of ice or snow. A few years back I-95 had to close because of the snow - SC just didn't have the equipment to handle it. Makes sense since they only get a couple inches a year, if that. But the gov't stepped in and required them to get more equip because they couldn't allow the interstates to close again. I remember making my 20 minute commute to work in an hour and a half, with no traffic on the roads. I just had to go super slow.

I have a splitting headache today - may take my lunch early and go lay down. I can't even look at this screen any longer!

Cammie- This weather is awful! I haven't been out of the house in 3 days and it is driving me crazy. I feel like I need to go for a run and I haven't been running since before Luca was born.

I Will make it to the gym today I need it for my sanity.

I also have to hit the mall today to get a few things for Luca for Vacation the only thing is we turned our Lease in and so now we just have Mike's truck. I want a new VW so it is going to take some saving up we like to put half down and I want to see if a new model line will come out next year. I am going to buy a used Passat for now and trade it in later, but I need to find one I can pay cash for not sure where to look other than craigslist.

Where do you put a carseat in a truck? We have the 2 seats in the front and then that small bench seat in the back not full size?

Well Good Morning girls I will be on I am finalizing my ADR's and updating my TR today
