Good morning! I'm up early again. I was half asleep, heard Jim leaving the room, and I woke up thinking I had ironed the wrong pants last night for him to wear for coaching tonight. Oops! I actually melted the "good ones" He only had two he could button a couple of months ago. Well, I got up and he had them on and they were fine! He's lost a few inches!

Kara, I think they move the smileys to keep us guessing! I like having a couple of different ones, though. I think I might actually be available for DP! It is a little early here, but a little Mexican coffee might be good

Debbie, I forgot about the kids last night! That is horrible! I would be so mad that they actually took those kids out in that temperature with no coats on! What if they actually had to evacuate? How long would it take to get them some place warm?

Well, I ran out for lunch break - 17 degrees at noon here - all schools are closed due to the temp. But then again, they close for this but let the kids ride the non-airconditioned buses when we are at 105 .

I got my hardwood mopped today. I am a goober, because I love walking on it after it is cleaned with oil soap.

I need to shower. Mia is napping. I got my cute little ring in the mail yesterday with my "one word" on it. BTW - the girl did a cute job - custom word sterling silver ring for $15. I'm pleased. It is a nice reminder for me.

I've got a busy weekend planned. It is okay. I knew it would be, but I hate when things are just so scheduled.

OH- Kara, that crock pot recipe for the Pork Chops with the brown sugar/ketchup/tomato/type sauce is such a hit at our house! I make it at least once a week and serve it over rice. I call it Pork Chops a la Kara I'm making a roasted chicken soup right now. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I'm watching this program on Cults - my goodness, there are some warped people out there! This "preacher" on here is having everyone tatoo themselves with "666". Okay, now....

Renee- Trying to have a relaxed weekend here, but it is not happening. I am trying to avoid the outside but I have to go and get a few things at the store today. I haven't even started my car in 2 days I should go see if it starts LOL it is only 9 here.

Debbie- I also hit the tanning salon when I need a pick me up it is so cold and grey here all winter long you need to do something. So give it a try it's worth the money for you sanity.

I am going to sign up for the Live messenger I just need to finish typing out my plans first and print and then that is it I am not touching my plans again.

Funny this is I DON'T COOK!!!! I mean, I do, but I hate it and I'm a terrible cook. But when I find something....

Jeff's favorite thing I make is a tater tot casserole. It is just good comfort food.

Ready?

1 lb ground beef
1 bag tater tots (small bag)
1 can cream of celery soup
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup cheddar cheese.

Brown ground beef with celery and onion - season with salt pepper to taste.
Put in bottom of baking dish (usually a small dish should work)
Spoon soup over meat mixture
Top with tater tots.
Cook uncovered at 400 deg for 40 minutes.
Top with cheddar cheese and cook for 5 more minutes.

Voila!

I always keep this stuff on hand and can whip this up in no time. Easy, cheap, and not that bad for you (I run the ground beef under water to rinse off all the grease, use fat free soup, and fat free cheese). Those darn tater tots though.....

Here I am! I've made a Pommegranite martini!

My day? Well guess what? After my post the other day, who do you think is sick today? Yep, Amanda!!! She had a bad night last night, so I was up alot. I don't know if I should have sent her to school today, but she seemed better and I was just exhausted. Well, she got to school by 9am and I got a call at 10. I had gone back to sleep and didn't hear the phone at first; finally talked to them by 11; had to get her by noon.

She's ok, just alot of work. I was just at my breaking point by late this afternoon and of course the ex was 45 minutes late for pick-up. I jus want to relax and chat with my buddies - I'm already in my pjs!

I don't know how to spell it, either! I got the tequilla in Mexico. There is a recipe on the bottle, but I don't have the ingredients. I was thinking it would even be good with Sprite or something.
