Jillian - how soon you forgot my advice! We actually didn't start leaving the kids with the grandparents until they were 5 and 7. I remember once when they were 3 and 4, we were going to leave them with friends for a weekend while we were in Okinawa. We packed their little suitcases, and headed toward their house - by the time we got there, we decided we couldn't do it - we bowed out and took them to the beach with us! We had a great weekend, but not exactly romantic!

We went away when Luca was 7 months old just to get a full nights sleep neither one of us sleeped we missed him to much I tossed all night long we were up at 8 and running home. I told him we are going away for my 30th ALONE

So what did you guys think of that USAir jet landing in the Hudson River? I couldn't tear myself away from the coverage! And I actually found my eyes watering up listening to the reports. Kind of restores my faith in humanity when you hear what happened. AMazing!

My Aunt is a flight Attendant and said that landing was amazing the odds of that happening are very rare it takes a very talented pilot

That was amazing! I love how everyone stayed calm and helped each other,and everyone was okay! They are calling the pilot a hero, and they're giving him and the crew the Keys to the City!
